For instance, a 30ml bottle:

• Yay! It arrived in the mail. I take it over to a table, take the cap off, and the dripper top.
• Cover the top up with my thumb, and shake the bottle for a minute continuously.
• Verify the juice has a bunch of very small little bubbles scattered about in it after shaking.
• Go into my bathroom and put the bottle in a drawer I use for steeping.
• The next day, I take the bottle out, still with it's opening exposed (no cap or dripper on yet), and shake it some more.
• Put the dripper back on.
• Put back into the drawer.
• The next day, shake it again, then leave it in the drawer with the main cap off, and with the dripper still on.

I'll continue the final step for about 2.5 - 3 weeks, then put the dripper back on. (All just "a plan" right now though since I haven't been vaping that long yet)

So my question is this: What should I change, or am I doing a good enough job with steeping?

klynnn

What type juice are you using? I only steep tobacco flavors for a week or two the rest not so much. I take a cup and fill it about 1/4 full of water then heat in microwave to almost but not boiling. Sit bottle in it with lid off til cool. Sometimes I do it twice and then stick it in a cupboard for a day or two then try it.

If your getting larger sizes (30+ mL) then I find taking an initial sample can't hurt. Another every week or so can't let you see how its developing.

Probably don't have to shake for a full minute either.

But other than that everything your doing seems fine (its definitely not going to hurt the juice).

Only tobacco flavors so far.

That's interesting. I haven't heard of the heated water technique. I will have to try that. Thx!

OK great, thank you for the feedback. I've been dipping into my Gandalf supply from HeathersHeavenlyVapes. It's getting better and better. I wasn't sure if there was a better way to do it though.
