Hi all I got a VAMO a couple days ago and im debating whether to contact smoktek about this problem. When I screw on a clearo I and press the atty checker button I get impossible readings such as 0.1 or .7 or 3.7 on a verified with DMM atty. Often times I will need to unscrew the clearo and screw it back on several times to get it to read correctly. This is really annoying as I cannot vape in VW mode without often getting the low ohm sign. ideas ? Already cleaned the 510 connection and charged the battery to the max.

This sounds like the typical problem that occurs when the gasket under the positive pin in the head is damaged... normally caused by over-tightening the atty's. Turn your Vamo off, and with a tweezers, or small screwdriver, try to pull the positive post up a little. Turn your Vamo back on, screw on your atty... not tightly, but just until it seats, and check the ohm's again. If it reads the atty ok, then the Vamo is ok, but the gasket below the positive post may be damaged. See, the Vamo Ohm error fix thread for ideas about how to repair the gasket.

Unless you cranked down a juice delivery device hard or screwed on one that has the center post that extends beyond the threads contact Smoktek and do any troubleshooting they ask. I've had my two VAMOs since December and they both reliably make contact with my varied juice delivery devices. It's perfectly reasonable to expect that your VAMO will do the same without any DIY center post surgery.
