the term used was rice vaper.....rice being a derogatory term applied to the Japanese import tuner cars.
You misread it I believe but will go back and edit to my original intended word when I'm not on tapatalk

?? Did you mean to quote someone else? Your reply has nothing in relation to my comments? Aren't you curious as to what they consider unsafe and why they think so?

I must have misunderstood your post. When did ProVape say 20 watts is the cutoff point for safety? I think people have assumed that, but I don't recall ProVape ever saying that. My guess is they have determined what is best for battery life and to avoid people complaining that their ProVari produces burned hits, because said complainer didn't know how to use their topper with 30 or 50 watts...
I'm not curious at.all. It's theirs to decide what they wish to make, and ours to decide what we wish to purchase.
Like it? Buy it. Don't like it? Dance on past.
They owe me.exactly what I owe them. Absolutely nothing.
Thanks. I'm surprised they'd.even go there.
Impact to my opinions remains nonexistent, but it.was interesting and I appreciate you doing the work that I was too.lazy to do myself.
And I mean that sincerely.
And that is your stance which is acceptable to you.
I however would like to know if they indeed have found something unsafe so that I can learn, as the vaping scene is still relatively new and everyone is still on the learning curve

getting a ton of free gear = getting paid
these reviewers should send the gear back after they review it (and to be fair, it's not just Phil--ALL OF THEM get a ton of free stuff).
could you imagine Motor Trend or Road & Track doing reviews, and the reviewer gets to keep the car?
these vaping reviewers get TONS of free stuff, and enough juice to stock a small shop. take a look at clips by "RubyRoo" or "Twisted420," they both did look-at-all-the-stuff-people-send-me videos. definitely an eye opener.

It must be battery safety at continuous use over 20 watts which they have found not to be safe. Makes you wonder if the other companies care, with mods up to 100 watts...
I don't know where you get your information, but that's nonsense. I would guess the most common uses other than firing, are power up, power down, check battery and check ohms. On my DNA 30s that takes me 2 clicks. On a Provari 2.5 it takes 38 clicks.
There's nothing wrong with single button mods, but they're just not for me. I prefer to keep my vaping simple. In fact, having a single button is the only reason I don't own a Provari, and won't be buying a P3.
Would I like to have a Provari? No. I would love to have a Provari, but as long as they are using a single button/menu system, that's not going to happen. I started vaping to get off cigarettes, I don't need all of the bells and whistles, (P3). I think it's awesome for those that do like them, but they're just not for me.
Again nonsense. I can use any topper on my DNA 30 tube mods, (yes, there are DNA 30 tube mods), that you can use on your Provari. I can use anything from a Kanger T2 to RDAs. I can vape on a 3ohm coil or I can sub ohm at .5 ohms at 30 watts. The only limitation with the current DNAs is for people that vape at less than 4 volts/7 watts.
What was that you were saying about a limited set of options?
This is what it really comes down to- money. I wouldn't pay more than $30 for any mod made in China and the 'haters' want to pay China prices for ProVari. ProVape will never satisfy them, because it will always be overpriced in their opinion. Some of us appreciate and place value in an American company, which produces a product in America with as many parts sourced in America as possible. Some of us work in manufacturing so understand the value of buying American. Some of us understand and appreciate quality made items and are willing to pay for them. Others don't and will never be ProVape customers. That's fine. Their products aren't for them.
You're right - it may be that? That's exactly why I would like to know. Last thing I want is to using a reo and blowing half my nose off(my nose is really long so only half would be affected) if I held it down too long at too much of a current draw?
Scary to think that the SX350 chip may be eventually upgradable to 200w. Too fast too quickly.

That's exactly what I was talking about. DNA mods can't down regulate. Conversely below 4v the boost circuit some use can't seem to sustain the high watts reliably. Because of that I chose the emech over them all because it steps down 8.4 v instead which is a more reliable way.
That may be why the 20 watt limit and we all may be wrong. It could be for efficiency sake as going higher may have a more negative effect on batt life than they want for the p3. Just think of how many high watt Vapers talk about only getting a couple hours on a batt. 2,5s are known for going all day easily at 15watts
