Buss, I'll check that out specifically. The guy last night said the cartridges were disposable, but could be refilled a couple of times. I wonder if they've trapped me into using their cartridges???? It is smokeanywhereus.com ---does not list either npro or ncig. The package is packed up in the car again, and I'm in a hotel room. However, I think it must be a female cartridge and male battery. I remember him showing me how to put it together, then loosen it a bit to let the little holes in the battery get air.

Just posted but I don't think it went. Sorry if it shows up twice. The package did not say either. The correct site is smokeanywhereus.com. The package is locked up in the car and I'm in a hotel room right now, but I'll check on the male/female thing specifically. However, I think it must be male battery and female cartridge. I remember the guy showing me how you put them together then loosen the cartridge a bit to let air into the little holes for drag. He told me last night that the cartridges were disposable, but could be refilled or added to a couple of times. I wonder if they've locked me into buying their cartridges?

Very unlikely. It is a model of some kind. My guess is a 4081. But can't be sure when having pictures that are clearly wrong on the site.

4081 has a female battery.

If it is a male battery, my first guess would be M401... but would need to see it.

You definatley go taken at the mall... My first e cig i paid $250 for at the mall with two boxes of atomizers.... i actually believe it was smoking anywhere (black box with a crest on the front?). Never stuck with it vapor production was horrid, cartos lasted maybe 3 cigs worth... ended up being more of a pain in the rear than it was worth.... (not to mention that at $20 for 4 carts ALOT more expensive than anologs!)
Try puresmoker.com Ace line, i use that while im at work, 2 batteries gets me through a 10 hour day at moderate vaping and its fairly cheap (somewhere around $30-$40). The cartomizers (or as PS calls them Atomz!) are fairly priced about 8-9 bucks, and their customer service is amazing. I know some aren't a fan of the Ace but i love it, not as much as my prodigy v3 or my screwdriver but it is perfect for being on the go and does mimic the cigarette look.
As for the smell, e-cigs do have an odor for about a second on exhale then it dissipates, so no it wont stink up the house.

Gave him his 'gift' last night. He was underwhelmed, but is trying it at least. Also, the ten little bottles of juice came. I suppose he just adds them to the catridges drop by drop? Buss, it is definitely a male battery and female cartridge. The ecig says fifty-one on them. smokeanywhereus.com shows the product. I tried a taste. What he's smoking (th 24mg) is absolutely stronger tasting than what I tried at the kiosk, which was about 6-12mg or so I think. I'll let you know how it goes---

Considering his smoking habit, I very much doubt what you bought will satisfy him. 6 to 12mg of nico is not enough, for one. Heavy smokers need at least 18mg, if not higher. I just got 24mg juice... big difference. It will buzz me... lol.

Since you already spent a lot, if he will even use it once in a while i would consider the Riva for $30 bucks. It is so cheap it is hard for me to not order a couple myself...

After reading all the replies to your post. I am axiously awaiting the outcome if your husbands first experience with his E-cig. I've been smoking since I was 17, I'm now 45 and proud to say I am now vaping and happier for it. You being a non-smoker, giving this "gift" to a hard-core smoker, he may see it as you trying to trick him into quitting.. Maybe introducing him to this forum, will help him in his process. It will let him see he is not alone. I purchased my first e-cig, but I did with the consciene decision, that if this didnt help me quit or atleast cut back then nothing would. I was hooked on my first vape. I had 8 analogs left when I got my first e-cig ( it wasnt a mall brand but one just like it the Blu). As crappy as that thing was I knew it was going to work, but I need to find better hardware if was not gonna go back to analogs. I am sooo sorry you spent so much money, but if it gets him to even cut back its was at least worth it. I would see if its something he is enjoying before you take the advise of getting a differnt style of e-cig. I finally found the right hardware a liquid for me a KR808d1. But I have also ordered the Riva510 thats been suggested for $30. I just couldnt pass up that price.

Let me also say, I have always enjoyed smoking. If it werent for the smell, and the health risks, I would still be ejoying an analog. I see it as a healthy alternative to something I really did enjoy, and as I stated earlier, I am Happy I changed. My hair, clothing, breath and house no longer smell like an old overflowing ashtray. I am wanting to actually replace every piece of furnature in my house becuase I cant seem to get the tobacco smell out. I'm actually surprised how I now hate the smell of an analog after so many years of smoking. When I'm around my smoker friends I cant stand it. I feel like I have a cloud of smoke encapulating my head. So I now feel for any non-smoker I've put through that experience. I did quit while pregnant with my children, and probably the only reason I did is because they made me sick. I even tried to continue smoking while I was pregnant but couldnt becuase I ge so sick. But as soon as those babies were out, I wanted a cig, couldnt wait to leave the hospital. But I smoked around my children even when they were babies. I did quit once for 6 years, and was so upset with myself for ever going back, and after that nothing worked until now. Just before vaping I was up to 2 to 2.5 packs a day. So don't trade him in for a new model just yet ( your husband that is LOL) If I, a die hard, do or die ex-smoker can do it, there hope for him. Good Luck to you Both, keep us abreast.

Sidenote: About the replacing the furniture, If I can stop trying new hardware, I can probably save enough money with all the money I am saving by not spending over $120 a month on analogs. Even with all the different hardware I've purchased including replacement cart and liquid. I still have not spent as much over a 3 month period as I was spending ona 1 month supply of analogs.

I have a RN4081 and I LOVE IT! I also have a RN4081 to 510 adapter. I personally do not like the manual 510 batteries at all I will stick to my auto 4081 for me it is much better. I started smoking when I was 12 (35 now) and smoked pretty heavy (2-3 packs or more a day) up until Sept. 29th 2010. The first week I had my 4081 I still smoked analogs because I was just missing something. That was until I got a new juice in the mail on 09/29/10 I put it in my cart and have not touched a analog since! I am so happy with my 4081 that I bought a 5-pack of batteries and a 5-pack of atty's from TW so now I never have to worry about not having a battery when mine goes dead after 3 straight hours of vaping LOL. I have some cartomizer's on their way now and cannot wait to see how they do on the 4081 :).

Just wanted to give MHO on the RN4081 I love it and think it is a AWESOME ecig :)

Update: My husband is using his e-cigs some. He says he's cut down on analogs by about 25%. I see him using the e-cig in the house, particularly when it's cold or raining outside. We have a screened porch, which is his analog smoking room. He's still out there plenty, but I do think he's cut down. One problem....I'VE enjoyed the e-cigs too much! I LOVE the Amaretto Peach! In fact, I've used the whole little tester bottle! He prefers the ones that just taste like tobacco. Now I'm on Asian Plum. Since I got him the 38mg. liquids, I'm sure I'm getting myself hooked! When I first tried it, they got me a little drunk. Now I just vape away without feeling 'high'. We compete over the charger! I guess I'll have to buy another battery and charger. I saw the Dr. e-cig kit on the Internet. It looked a lot like what we've got---only much cheaper. So far, we're just refilling the cartridges. He's only used four I think. Hasn't even opened the two full packs of cartridges I bought him (24mg.). How many times can you refill them and re-use? Does anybody know about the Dr. brand? It looks like it would be compatible with what we've already got. Thinking about buying more. So far I'm hiding MY smoking from the kids. Feel sort of like a hypocrite since I've nagged him for such a long time about smoking!

Well, you're vaping not smoking. There's a difference. :) Glad to hear he's using it. It may take some time for him to fully convert over but at least he's giving it a try. As far as refilling is concerned, you can refill until the atomizer stops working or you notice poor performance from them. I don't know much about the model you linked so I can't help you there. I haven't use that type of model in years so I'm out of the loop where those are concerned.

Latest update: Remember the $250 purchase I made from Smoke 51??? It included two long batteries---Well, just a couple of months later neither battery is working AT ALL! My husband and I have both found e-liquids that we like, and I did also buy him a Magma passthrough for Christmas, which is working. But I am so disappointed that the original e-cig purchase has just died! If we're going to continue to vape, we'll have to find another way to go!

obxlisa - perhaps the charger or charger cable died? And check if the place you bought it front has a warranty. Though Smoke 51 charges rip-off prices maybe they have a warranty.

If you have the Smoke 51 Duo then I think that is a KR808D-1 aka "Vapor King" at Vapor4Life - they sell nice colored batteries, and if you just want plain black or white try places like Cignot, LitecigUSA.net, Liberty-flights.com, MyPVShop (those are some of the various hardware vendors people like)

But it may be your charger or it could be juice buildup in the charger socket or on the ends of the batteries.

If it's the Trio then I don't think anyone knows what model that actually is but several rebranders use the same model.

After listening to people about there methods of cleaning I keep a box of cheapy Q-tips handy! Take one and wipe arond the charger connection really well over and over! everytime you go to put a battery on the charger use the Q-tip to clean the charging end of the battery paying special attention to the threads! Amazing how much black gunk builds up which will keep a battery from charging correctly!
If you are looking to upgrade to bigger battery models that last a long time Liberty flights has the Riva kits for $30 Bucks which has 2, 750 mah batteries and they have ego Kits which contain 2, 650 mah batteries for $40 plus $2.99 shipping! This company has a pretty sound reputation also according to what ive read on here!
Just thinking if your batteries lasted longer he would probably be more prone to keep the PV in his hand more often!
Good luck to you 2!

Hi, I also made the $200 blunder and bought the Smoke 51 duo. The batteries do have a lifetime warranty, I went and complained about the shorter one, and they gave me a long one to replace it. If you want extra batteries, the Smoke 51 duo is actually an 808D-2, not D-1. You can get replacement parts, empty cartomizers, batteries, chargers, etc at LeCig.

I hardly use my 51 Duo anymore, since I bought a Riva 510 kit from LF. The duo was a great starter, though- anything to be off those nasty analogs.

I have 1 of each.
The wife bought the Smoke Everywhere at a kiosk & it is a RN4081 which you can get cartomizers for which make it a pretty good e-cig.
Just got in a Smoke Anywhere kit from Vapors Etc & it is a KR808D-1 kit .
Either one of these kits are OK to me , but I am a newbie of only 3 weeks.
You can get XL batteries for the KR808D-1 model, but I don't think so with the 4081.
I also got cartomizers from Vapors Etc. He had a 25% off sale until last night.

Keep on vapein'

RN 4081 & KR808D-1 & lovin' both.

Finally made it up to Virginia Beach to the kiosk where I made the original purchase $200+. I brought in my two non-functioning long batteries and they gave me two new ones---no problem! I also bought a new charger and a box of filters--another $70, but if they really do stand by that lifetime guarantee, perhaps it's worth paying more.

So excited to see you resurface here! How's the hubby doing?

PS: Have you seen these yet? They came out relatively recently and people seem to really like them:
