Hi all. I was just wondering if anyone has had packages seized by the FDA lately. I have searched several sites and cannot find any information on this within the last few months. I ordered a package from Hong Kong on August 26. The tracking shows Inbound Customs and has for 5 days now. I am in California and my package is at LAX. Anything I should be concerned about? The package is small, 20 kits, 10 batteries, 100 cartomizers, and 50 bottles of liquid.
Is the FDA still seizing packages through customs?

You don't have to worry yet.
5 days in customs is not unusual. Longer than most, yes, but not unusual.
There will be a notification if there is an issue.
And, yes, it is still happening. For obvious reasons vendors will not be advertising troubles getting through customs and the FDA.

I have experienced no problems with Customs on any of my China shipments - usually about 2 a month.........
