Is the Kr808d-1 going away??

The KR808d-1 isn't going away anytime soon because it just keeps on getting better and better.

We just spent a week camping and I was using my KR808 stuff more than my favorite Go-go.

do those empty clear and easy tanks fit any brand of kr808d?

Ive tried alot of cartos including the flux and clearos.I still prefer V4L.

I can unequivocally say ... probably.

There are always slight differences in fittings between batteries from the same vendor. Whenever I've had a problem I've found tweezing up the center post on the Clear and Easy Tank solves it. Let's put it this way ... I don't own a KR808 where I can't use the Clear and Easy.

Maybe I'm shopping the wrong places, but it seems harder to find batteries and cartos for them now...

4.2V off the charger It remains at 4.2 until 5 minutes b4 recharge time. I don't know what the voltage is underload, because I don't know how to test that. I'm sorry I did not get back to you right away!!

V2 is not too bad with shipping, great customer service though. V2's shipping rate to Canada is double was V4L's is though. I think I paid $40 shipping to Canada with a V2 starter kit.

Maybe your vendor has decided not to carry Kr808d-1.
As a Supplier I am forbidden by ECF rules to tell you (in this forum) what products I have in stock. But I can tell you with certainty that Kanger is still making and shipping KR808D-1 products.

Kanger is still shipping 808 stuff, but the problem is, they don't make the regulated batteries from my understanding. No one seems to know who does...
