I mostly vape a half/half mixture of 36mg and 24 mg, so the net result is 30 mg. I've been smoke free for 2 weeks now and have no desire for a cigarette. But in the morning, after I vape awhile, I feel my heart rate goes up. This is definately the nicotine working but I'm wondering if this is too high and if I should lower it. I'm afraid lowering the nicotine might cause me to smoke again, and back then when I smoked the first cig in the morning, my heart rate would go up too, so maybe this is just a normal part of nicotine addiction?

Just wondering how bad for my body this is, thanks.

Welcome , but your probably correct in the high nicotine causing the faster heartbeat . 30 and 36 mg . is considered , very high . Try dropping to about an 18 mg. and the faster heartbeat will probably go away . I slowly lowered my nic. intake over the period of a year or so . I started at 24mg , then dropped to 18 , then 12 , then 6 , and now vape ) nic. with no issues . I did keep a higher nic. juice around for those in-frequent cravings . But I don't get those , anymore either . Good Luck

I've been a vapor for 2 years now, vaping 36mg. I know your problem. When I vaped 24mg, it didn't feel like it was working and had to increase to 36mg. I've been 36mg ever since. I do have hypertension, but the ecig hasn't seemed to raise or lower my blood pressure. It's stayed the same regardless.

I like your idea of 24/36 mix. Nicotine isn't really the best thing for us and affects all of us differently. Nicotine is a stimulant and will get the heart pumping if you are vaping too fast.

So just use nicotine with caution. Keep an eye on yourself. If you get that bloated head sick feeling, or heart racing, anxiety level goes up, just put the ecig down for a half hour and drink some water.
