Is the Provari Mini just as good?

I found that I wasn't using the extension on my full size Provari 2.5, so when I wanted to order a Zombie, I got the mini. I can always use the zombie extension for 18490's, but so far I've just used the 18350's. Granted, it's only been less than two full days. But so far so good!

A side note. I think the Vamo V3 would be perfect with a 18490 length. The 18350 is too short for that APV. And the 18650 is too long, IMO.

best regards, larry mac

That's a good reason to get an SVD as your backup.
:)
It'll take pretty much any battery you throw at it, and it's comparable in most other ways to a VAMO.
(Except for the 510 threads, which are way better.)

OK, so why the Tatroe/stock cap as opposed to the ProVape extended cap?
They both just make room in a mini for an 18500, right?

Just wondering!

I think this picture was probably for size & style demonstration purposes.

1 ring + stock cap = 18490 batteries, the same as a mini with the extended cap
1 ring + tatroe base = 18650 batteries

I picked up a tatroe base along with the extended cap for a little more stability when I'm home. My cat likes to come over & check out my Provari, give it a nudge and knock it over (which sends her running, but she keeps coming back!).

I have 2 minis, 1 standard, the Twins, all the Tatroe base stuff, and the Cingulum Completo. I believe in leaving my options open I guess.

For work, it's a mini in 18350 mode. The rest of the time, it's whatever suits my mood. I bought the standard first, thinking I would never use the mini as I didn't want small batteries. Then I bought a mini to have all size options available to me. I bought the 2nd mini because I already had all the extensions, so it could be whatever size I wanted it to be.

Another consideration for me is design. My standard is the V2. I am not fond of the crop circles on the V2.5. The teardrops are the same on both versions.

Hey Train,

Thanks for giving me a reason, any excuse, to buy more vaping gear! lol. Even though I absolutely don't need it, I've really come to like Innokin products, and that one is inexpensive and cool lookin'. I like my SS 134, I like my iclear 30's. And when I can get some, I want some of the iclear 30S's.

Oh, BTW, I just ordered an SVD from Fasttech. It can be my backup, to my other backup, and to my other backup, and so on and so on! lol.

Thanks again Train. I guess what they say is true. You can't beat a Train! :2cool:

IMO, I just tried the IClear30 and ProTank2 last night..ProTank for me is too airy and no flavor and the IClear30 is maybe a step above. :(

Neither one is doing it for me which is very disappointing. I need a strong flavor hit and warmer vape. My vape bliss is not here yet but still searching. The ProVari Mini; however, is a solid piece of equipment and is awesome. Just need to find the perfect juice delivery system but something I don't have to fiddle with and I don't know anything about rebuilding anything.
