Is the recall on the SmokTech Groove a legitimate recall?

Can anyone tell me if the recall on the Smoktech Groove a legitimate recall or has their site been hacked? I need to make sure because I own 3 of them. Thanks for any answers.

Yes it is legitimate there is a thread somewhere (APV FOrum maybe) about one that pretty much exploded.

I saw the notice on smok's web site. Also on PBushardo site. I also got an e-mail from a vendor, not the one I purchased my Groove form. I'm still waiting to hear form him to see if he will give me a voucher if I return it but I'm doubtful on that.

If you don't get a voucher or something equivalent, will you please post who it was? I am waiting from mine, but I have seen a couple of comments that my vendor will give a store credit.

Ones that won't should be exposed. It looks like the manufacturer is doing the right thing and working with distributors to make it happen. A storefront that doesn't is a parasite.
