The truth is that in my mecanical caravela, with my old blue that some say it's now efest 800mah imr here:
By mistake i've discharged them once or two way too much, to 2.7 and 2.6V. I was a newbie in mecs and for me LR can go all the way down bellow 3V for me to notice, old days.. Nothing special happened but, still after one year they started to feel weak in their power, and i think it's normal after so much use and abuse.
I must say that, in electronic mods, i felt that the mini drunk lava didn't gave power to the atty bellow 3.3V but it would carry on till 2.7V. The Vamo on that issue is much more like the good minis I've used or the eGos on a good new condition, that only feel weak in the last... 2 to 4 puffs and then is't off. LoV warning and it's time to charge.
Im my opinion, bats like efest that go weak from the 3.5/3.4V bellow, can be great to mecs, since you wont run the risk of over discharge them, but i must say that in little bats such as 18350, Aw is the way to go for mods like Vamo or Provari or SVD or... anything else that pushes too much discharge rate from the bat.
I've read somewhere in this Vamo sub forum that, one user got is vamo to discharge batteries while standing still like for ex. overnight, but in my case i rarelly turn off my vamo except when i put it on my pocket and that doesn't happen. And if something happens you have the ventilation on the bottom cap so... i see no problem there.
