On Saturday my mom got a touch of dizziness. She almost blacked out. Then she felt better. She just felt dizzy the rest of the day. Then yesterday I get hit with it. On the road no less! The road started moving. I knew it wasn't my pv since I knew mom had it(vertigo). I had to have my mom come and get me. I was so closed to being home. I just couldn't continue to drive. I felt dizzy and nautious the whole day. Now this morning I am feeling a tiny better just still a bit dizzy. Last night parts of my body started feeling numb. It wasn't a tingly sensation. Now this morning I feel that numbness. I know it is not the pv. I really hate vertigo. I am not diagosed with it. It's just a virus. I hope it goes away soon. :(

I am wondering if anyone else has, experienced this type of virus yet?

Yes, I had that two days last week. Nausea and dizziness. After the second day, it went away.

I assumed either my blood sugar was off or my blood pressure.
Thank you. That clears everything up. My arms are feeling numb and tight. :( I hope it goes away. Wouldn't want to call off work. What would I say? "I have vertigo and can't come in". lol. I also am not driving today either. Mom is.

I have vertigo off and on. You should be checked by a doctor. Vertigo is the leading presenting symptom of undiagnosed MS.

Drugs for motion sickness (like Dramamine and Bonine) are very effective in stopping the feeling. My Doctor has me on a prescription version of Bonine and I have to take it about 2-3 times a month to combat the spinning feeling.

Best to get to a Doc just to be on the safe side.

Like I said before. Been checked out by my dad. He's a PA. He think it's just a virus. Nothing to fret about. Thanks for your concerns though.

Could the PV I've been using make it worse? Make it stay around more? Cause I took a puff once and it made me start feeling dizzy more. I hope it's not that. I feel better on and off. Had to call off work.

Oh yeah. Sometimes I do get dizzy on and off. But not a severe dizzy.

Actually, I have been wondering something similar regarding the whole e-cig thing. About two months ago, grabbed my 1st e-cig and enjoyed the heck out of it. About a week later, I had my FIRST ever bout with Vertigo (thought I was having a heart attack.) I took the PV on a trip to Europe and had my 2nd bout with Vertigo. After the 2nd incident I have felt dizzy ever since (over a month.)

Doctors (primary, ENT and even a Rad who did an MRI on my head) are not sure as it "could" be an inner ear infection but I have to stay on two medications now to keep the dizziness away. Inner Ear infection is the most common, but not always the case. I am not blaming the PV, but it sure is strange how close a time frame the two came into my life. Anyone else have something like this happen to them?

As much as I hope this isn't a side effect of being around inhaled PG regularly, I can't say it doesn't affect my biased response.

Dizziness/vertigo is a common symptom of the flu, well at least dizziness is. Vertigo can easily follow from dizziness. Also, it's not just the flu, a lot of viruses can cause dizziness. If it keeps up, get it checked out. If the doctor can't find anything, switch to VG, see if PG causes it, because if it does, you might as well try to find out; you'd be doing a service to yourself and others here on ECF.

I just googled (and read some article) PG, and found out exposures to high level amounts can cause irreversible damage to the liver and CNS. Switch to VG now. I know it's different from the last post I made, but still, if you've been vaping a lot, I would hate to see you end up as a statistic in future research against the e-cig.

Chances are you caught something from your mom, but it would be great if you could say so without having to question your connection to frequent inhalation of PG.

I hope (and cross my fingers) that you get better, and quickly.

This is interesting, I recently had a bad reaction to PG severe lactic acid build up and i know for a fact that due to having some indian heritage I have been told that my liver is not able to breakdown certain enzymes in alcohol quick as other people. Which makes me an easy drunk, unable to handle liquer I usually blackout with more than 4. So I don't drink anymore because of this, I wonder if my liver also has trouble breaking down the lactic acid quickly, being why even with drinking gatoraid and tons of water I'm in severe pain from the PG. Hmm makes me wonder:confused:

I've read a lot about PG is like milk. Lots of people are alleglic to it. But you'd never know you were cause it's not common enough to be tested for it as a child. It's best to just switch to VG as soon as you suspect that you may be one of them. There is a few sites that have the option to get juice made with VG instead. I suggest anyone coming down with this said Ear infection/ Veritgo/Muiti Flu's you should all look in to VG.

I will be watching this thread closely as I have allergy induced vertigo. Interestingly enough, one and a half weeks into vaping w/PG fluid, I had a bout of it. I haven't had an 'attack' in a very long time and it surprised me.

I'm next to useless--no make that totally useless--when this hits as my eyes move side to side uncontrollably, which makes for massive dizziness. If I attempt walking with my eyes open, I must immediately run for the bathroom to worship at the porcelin throne. The only thing I can do for it is to take motion sickness pills (which make me sleep) and a strong decongestant and lay down till it passes which is usually about 24 hours.

Wish I had found this thread before placing my orders for a large amount of PG liquid. <Sigh>

I have also experienced vertigo in the past month and that is not a normal thing for me.

Please be aware folks... I have experienced the vertigo off and on for the past few weeks and I have never vaped before until yesterday.

It's not the PG or VG getting us... there is something going around.

I agree. This doesn't apply to everyone that posted here, but I had it for two days along with nausea. None since then and I haven't changed anything regarding the way I vape or what I vape.
