I guess the crowd that has overblown the diketone data has no other words in their vocabulary other than harmless or hazardous. And demonstratively doesn't understand how evidence for either actually works.

It really seems odd some would try to convince others a potentially dangerous substance is perfectly fine. I've seen the same behavior when other substances were in question...

Again, even more odd that some would try to convince others that a potentially non-hazardous activity that is currently showing zero incidents of hazard is potentially very harmful, and ought to be viewed only thru that prism.

Like a 100 times more odd.

I tend to trust the likes of Dr. F, Kurt and NIOSH. The majority of the industry also does, as well, given they have taken steps to test and not use DA and AP. Those who haven't won't be around after regulations anyway...

Over the overwhelming lack of evidence of harm?

I am definitely underwhelmed by this argument.

Lack of evidence:
After how many years of vaping (mainly moderate amounts of liquid at mainly moderate wattage)?

After smoking for decades, I had no evidence of harm whatsoever. Which of course did (and does) not mean that no harm happened.

I think I'm even more underwhelmed by this line of reasoning.

After drinking water for decades, I had no evidence of harm whatsoever, which of course did (and does) not mean that no harm happened.

nobody said putting e-juice in your lungs was a bad idea.

Actually several, rather respectable people have said that putting e-juice laced with diketones in your lungs IS a bad idea.

But you guys feel free to be lab rats and continue to vape diketones because they "taste good"; it doesn't really matter to me. You own your body and it's yours to do with as you please. Just don't expect any sympathy if, in 5, 10 or even 20 years, never-smokers who've been direct lung hitting that crap start coming down with BO. The only catch is if that does happen, vaping in general will get a very bad rep, and Stanley Glantz and his ilk will gleefully be telling everyone, "See, we warned you it was as bad as smoking!"

its been said and not proven.
These two statements appear to contradict each other.

And if you really believe it doesn't matter what's in your juice, let me whip you up a 30ml bottle. You vape it and tell us how you feel afterward. ;)

your on. as long as you use ingredients that are considered GRAS and are
food or pharmaceutical grade. just be sure the percentage of nicotine is
correct. i'm at 11 mg per ml now.
