When I take out the initial plastic piece to start cleaning a CE3 or phoenix bottom coil I use one of the needles as is recommended. The problem is that the needle bends, and I've now discovered, breaks.

These clearos don't hold much juice and I am often not refilling as I am still looking for a good flavor. At the pace I'm at I will be out of needles before the clearos go bad. Is there another way to remove this piece that saves my needles?
