I have virtually seen the progression of the vaping industry since 2009. We have more new tanks & mods coming into the market in the last 12 months than the previous 6 yrs. Some so call branded products that are put out are nothing more that just a facelift but selling at a ridiculous price. Companies buy a US$30+ chipset and putting into a case and sells at around US$200. Pay some so called reviewers and tell us how innovative and fantastic the product is.
I have bought 2 tanks (Squape X & Tilemahos V2 plus with springomizer) and a mod (Sigelei 213W) in the last one month. Does the so call improvements in my new acquisitions justify the asking price or are they any better than what I already have, the answer is a definite no. I get better flavour from my Dome, Rose V2 & Squape Rs with bottom deck. The only thing positive on the Squape X is airflow and ease of use but I think I can afford the extra 1 or 2 minutes to perform the same task on my Rs. I love the unique idea of the springomizer but is the flavour any better, no. Do I regret buying the tank? No. It is a good addition to my collection. Would I use it everyday? Definitely no. Getting spares for gg products is next to impossible. What really frustrate me is the modders's attitude towards his customers. The Sig is the only buy that I am happy with. I think the option to set your own preheat will go a long way to satisfy a lot of us. My cheapest purchase of the three is the only one I am happy with.
