What is the science? I’ve been vaping now for 34 days (no analogs) and spending money on ego T’s, Vamo’s, iTaste 3.0 VV, every kind of clearomizer and cartomizer with different ohms and juices from a dozon vendors and it seems that every day is different with vaping. Is there a method to this madness or does it take time to find a sweet spot for every device and flavor? Now I’m trying 50/50 mixes.

All I want is taste, vapor and throat hit with 12mg of nicotine, like analogs gave me. Why are most tanks, Kanger T3 series and cartos so much air?

My only sweet spot so far is Watermelon Chill (70 vg/30 pg) in a Vision Stardust 1.8 ohm on my Vamo at 4.4 to 4.5 volts. I know that’s hot for 1.8 ohm but I get a nice clean/cool throat hit with plenty of vapor. Any other tanks or cartos I get burnt taste or nothing at all if I lower the voltage.

I may have to go back to smoking analogs to save money at this rate. LOL

So about 11 Watts with a fruit & menthol..yep, that should give you a good TH.

I agree with you about the airy draw on clearos. Can't stand it myself. I need a tight draw and if I need some air with my vapor I can breathe on my own.

But, that's why I'm a dripper. Since there are not many of us drippers left, I'm sure there will be plenty of suggestions for clearos and cartos coming soon.

This is not science but just the way I have found my Vaping to work. I have found using different juices will mess up the taste of my primary juice for about a week. I vape a caramel daily all day. I will occasionally try a new juice and then go back to caramel. It tastes terrible for about a week. Then goes back to normal. I have the original protanks I bought 2 mths ago and just clean them out. I have not bought a new atty in 2 months.

You can tighten up the draw on the T3/S system by covering one or more of the airholes on the base with a piece of tape, or use your finger like a carburetor choke. Once the right hole or holes are covered and the draw is tight enough, a little dab of gorilla glue will make the modification semi-permanent.

I am surprised that with your resistance level and voltage, you aren't burning a hole through that Vision Stardust.

I'm not a fan of cartotank systems, but a lot of people have had success with them.

No better, stronger more flavorful vape than from dripping. I had the opportunity to borrow a friend's Reo for a week and if I had the chance to do it all over again my first PV would've been a bottom feeder rather than a Mech Mod.
Realize also it's the nature of an addiction to always be searching for that "better" hit....with some people more so and others not so much.

Just a thought...but if you are using something called Watermelon Chill...it sounds like you like the cool "blast"....and like a strong TH. Maybe you could invest in a little bottle of The Flavor Apprentice Koolada (10%). Put a few drops (just a few...start out real slow...it's VERY VERY strong stuff!) into your juice to pump up the chill factor/throat hit. Since, for a 30ml. bottle that already has "chill" in it, you'd probably blow the top of your head off with 5 extra drops, it isn't going to do any measurable lowering of your nic level. Even adding up to 1ml. really isn't going to have enough impact to worry about. The stuff is very very potent! I make a DIY menthol an it's eye crossing strong. I only use a total of 6% flavor.. only one percent of which is koolada. Just my two cents :2c:

Oh yeah...and VG is going to mute taste and TH big time. Maybe aim for more of a 50/50 mix of PG/VG?

For more throat hit and flavor with less sweet, lower the VG, I use 80%PG/20%VG and get great throat hit and plenty of the actual flavor without the syrupy sweetness. I've never used VV or VW, all I've had is 3.7V mods and adjusted by the resistance of the carto, my favorite is Smok Tech's Single Coil, 1.7 ohm cartos in my tanks.
