I have been loyal to my 510 for over a year.
Never looked into getting anything else before.
I have ordered about 15 kits just replacing the parts that tear up from everyday use.
It seems like I am constantly vaping; I can't stop myself, even at work. Constant. I feel akward without it in my hand. I feel upset when I don't have a battery on the charger, and will even elect not to go somewhere if there is no power source for my batteries. My friends all laugh because I'll stop by and ask, "Can I use some of your electricity before we go out tonight?"
I am back to analogs for a day while I am awaiting even more replacement parts and now I want a better e cig. I thought about just buying a PCC or those new bigger batteries but I wonder if I should just try something new altogether.

I need something:
-Stronger
-Longer Battery Life
-Longer Shelf-Life
-Something That Doesn't Require Electricity Courses in Night School

Money is not an issue for me, only quality and awesome-ness. What is the most awesome in your opinion and how do you get it (pretty fast)?

Thanks!

Id agree - look at your 510 as the basis for a mod - you keep the same atties but get a better battery life. The eGo suits a lot of people (its a good battery but its still a 510 so you dont have to buy more atties) or you could get a different higher voltage one like a silver bullet, chuck, precise..all can take 510 atties and don't require a degree in engineering to operate. Most of them need batteries (go figure a battery that needs a battery lol) and thus chargers for those batteries. The eGo needs its own charger as it wont fit a normal 510 charger.
5v vaping on a 510 is also nice btw, so don't discount that.

I see the eGo has already been mentioned, and I'm putting on my list to buy as well. As to how to get it?

eGo @ Cignot

Janty -- buy a kit, or just batts and cones.

Most people recommend getting the eGo fast charger. As I understand it, you can charge an eGo batty on your 510 charger, but you need an extender and it takes quite a while.

Another option would be to buy a passthrough (PT). I've read mixed things on them. A lot of people really like them, and then you'll hear about them not working -- I have no experience, but it seems as if there's the occasional bad one that comes through. There are a few varieties of PT for the 510. 1, I think it's the "Sit'n'Go", delivers higher voltage, so I don't think you'd want to use it on std. 510 attys -- do some reading on that if you're interested, because I could be not remembering something correctly. The Joye 510 passthrough has a battery, and continually charges it. So, if you're vaping at your desk a lot, you can just keep it plugged in, and then vape off the battery even when it's unplugged. The downside is that you've got the wire going to the battery.

If you don't mind being wired while you vape, you could also get a portable power pack. There are many models; one is the Kensington power pack or similar from APC or Eveready. These things are available in multiple sizes. You can carry one with you and be good for a couple days or more, depending on how big a one you buy -- just plug your PT into it. You could also get a USB 510 charger, then charge your batts from the power pack. So you'd be carrying it around with your vape kit, but you wouldn't need to be hanging fire waiting for a batty to charge before heading out for adventure.

I just bought an Energizer XP2000 (Eveready), and it isn't as good a deal as the Kensington or APC if you find either of them on sale. I just wanted to have something for the weekend, and priority shipping on a web-order would pretty much negate the money saving. The APC in particular will deliver more amperage -- don't remember offhand what the max. amperage is on the Kensington. I'm going to use it to charge my 510 batts.

I've thought about the 510 Mega batteries, but I'm sure a single one of those wouldn't be an all-day solution for me.

Most of them need batteries (go figure a battery that needs a battery lol) and thus chargers for those batteries. The eGo needs its own charger as it wont fit a normal 510 charger.

I forgot that part. The 016 uses the same charger as a 510 as well and the battery is sealed as well.

Good luck and happy vaping!

I was about four months in when I got a 5 volt box mod. It's hard for me to put it into words, but it really is a whole other ball game. I go a full day without even wondering if I am going to run out of power. Plus it puts out so much more that I find myself actually able to put it down (once in a while).

You sound like a heavy vaper like me and I did the 510 and ran four full e-cigs at a time. Don't waste your money on a pcc it will never keep up if your a like me. The PT however rules. Get the 5 volt that does not have the battery and then buy a big mod.

Flavors change with 5 volts but that just means some of them are better and some not.

Hi Im in the same boat, used the 510 for about a year now moved to Tornado/Ego batteries about 2 months ago, well they are batter than the std 510 kit however I'm still looking for somthing better.
I tryed 5v on 510 atties, Its ok but not realy what I'm looking for.

Screwdriver with the 510 connection? cheap batteries 4 for $10 but you would nead a charger @ $8 - $16. It does however give 3.7v at the attie against the 3.1v the ego will give you, thats a 20% performance increase. Personally I'm going this way with the special offers they have on just now (free bodys with kits, half price bodys only and £6 world wide shipping could be an option for you.

Had a look at the halo looks quite good but $24 for a battery? What is the attie voltage of the halo?

The other option I'm looking at just now is cartomizers. Im fed up with the incocistancy of 510 atties. Hopefully this may go some way to resolving this.

I hope you find what you are looking for. And if you do find it let us know!!!

PS dont get a 510 pass through....there rubbish if you were close by I would have given you mine... not used it in 7 months.

Screwdriver is what I have... it's amazing. The batteries last me 24 hours on constant vaping. It's larger than a 510 battery but you can use the 510 atomizers with an adapter (the adapter is just a tiny little metal piece that connects the threads of both ends) and this way, you can use your screwdriver as a 901 or a 510 model. And if you have two batteries freshly charged before you go out, you'll be good for two days :). If you use a mod like the eGo like everyone is suggesting, or the screwdriver like I mentioned, you'll most likely never have to worry about your batteries dying on you. Good luck!

I used the eGo and the 510 for a few months. I decided I didnt want proprietary batteries and, based on respected opinions on this Forum, I went with the Provape. Uses non-proprietary batts and ALLLLLL my 510 stuff (had to buy the batts and the batt charger). Batts I got on sale 2 for $5 and one batt lasts me a day and a half.
The qwality of the ProVape is terrific as well, solid, solid unit and David at ProVape is just a joy to work with!
You will NOT be sorry. I have put away the eGo and the 510 and am delighted I have them just in case...but my day to day vape machine is this ProVape. With Halo juice, it just ROCKS!
If you have a Q, feel free to PM me.
Happy vaping!

I would also suggest getting the ego or tornado. They have a great battery life and are still pretty small.

However, if you wouldn't mind something a little bigger, I'd say go with a BB from Altsmoke. It's another 3.7v device. You would have to get batteries and a charger (I'd suggest the AW 14500's instead of the Trustfire's). The quality of the device is outstanding. Plus you can buy a passthrough bottom (runs at 5V) for it and get an Enercell power adapter, allowing you to select from a variety of voltages.

I love mine.

By the way, Lexington, KY is my hometown!

I just got the Hello 016 from Madvapes and it rules. It's stronger, tastier, and it uses 510 attys and/or cartomizers so you wouldn't have to do much upgrading. I've been able to use mine all day without a charge and I tend to vape like a tire fire.

Hello 016 E-Cig kit

LMAO :laugh::laugh:....."vape like a tire fire." Another excellent phrase. I've asked this in another thread somewhere, and I apologize for the brief-off topic- is anyone keeping a collection of slang words and phrases that we have all come up with re: our vaping experience. I think it would be hysterical to have such a collection. brian I encourage you to post your witticism on the thread "You know your a heavy Vapor when...."
Sorry again, for the off-topic....I'm still laughing....."like a tire fire..
