I always recommend the 901 when someone wants a ecig that looks more realistic than the 510. Get the auto ones, they work great, just dont over drip with juice..
I have never had complaints.

801s I dont recommend. they vape a little better. but I CANNOT for the life of me, find a cartridge that works well with it. They always leak juice.

510 or 901 is way to go,
Use passthroughs at 5 volts, and you are golden.
U can get a mod at 6 volts, it will be a harsher vape, but I agree that 5 volts, is the premium voltage for 510s and 901s.

901 give a smoother hit though. Especially at 5 volts.

If you follow the French link I think you will see that (according to them), it is the same length as a standard 510.. but it does appear to be smaller in diameter.

This will be interesting.

I have the standard 510s with the mega batteries, and they look identical, but I could be wrong. The mega batteries are about an inch longer than the standard 510 batt.

hmmm... not sure if its enough to get me to switch unless they had some breakthrew in atty's

Yeah... I agree. It's all in the attys now.. and in the quality control and consistency of the attys. Heck.. I ordered some SLB 510 atty "clones"... just cuz I'm that annoyed with Joye right now.

The 901 or the vapor king can get pretty close to the 510. The 901 seems to bring out flavor better and the batteries last longer.

Yeah.. the 901 can come close to a 510.. but it won't eclipse it. The 510 has an additional atty wick and a lower atty resistance. That generates (usually) more vapor and a hotter vape... at the expense of battery life.

Pull the wick out of a 510 atty and you get a beast that's halfway between the two.

I'd like to say thanks to the guys who helped me solve my mystery. It was indeed a pair of the "new and improved auto batteries" , which have a 1 second cut off, which is pretty much impossible to get some decent vapor out of it that way. But I found a way to do it, by putting my tounge on the air hole of the cart while sucking, and constantly blocking the hole and unblocking it every 0.5 second or so, meaning I activate the battery like 5-10 times per draw, but it STAYS activated and the vapor is great, the throat hit is there, so until I get my hands on the manuals, I'll be using this method. Hope that helps some one who has the same problem. :)

Those autos must be new. Earlier 510 autos had a long cutoff to where I'd rarely run into it and there was no 'time out' either. Good workaround until you get the manuals. Other posters may run into the same thing. BTW, they are now making 510 manuals with a 7 second cutoff - see if you can get ones that don't have that 'feature' ;-)
