I bought it from: Nimbus V4 Dripper Atomizer - Check Our Review On The V4 Nimbus By JPGE

I brought it to a local shop to get the airholes drilled larger. The one guy said that he thinks its a fake.

It looks like there is glue under the part that screws onto the battery (see first pic) and im not sure if thats normal. It cost me 70 so i really hope I didnt get ripped off.

I think it's the real deal, but having said that, the clones probably function the same. I have a clone and found that the posts are chrome plated brass. I suspect the JPGE version uses stainless steel - hope so anyway. The "glue" is the bottom insulator for the center pin and is PA66 which stands for Polyamide 6,6 which is a type of nylon. See the link below for info:

Check out the clones on e-bay and compare. I supposedly purchased legit one too from a B&M months back but I don't know what version. I'm just trusting my local B&M because they claim they do not sell clones. It's my only legit item, and the JPGE logo etching has differences with the clone closeups on ebay. Sometimes the deck looks a little different too, like center post looks raised compared to the negatives. (all 3 posts in mine line up even)

Although looking back I kinda wish I did just buy a cloned rda. Like you I paid 70$ couple of months back. The packaging was a regular small plastic baggy and it came with no spare O rings/screws/no drip tip and the top cap had light scratches on it. Even FT Clones give spare o-rings, screws, and an additional drip tip for some of their rba clones that cost $23 and under! Only thing that might have certified the product was some flimsy square black JPGE print out that could've been reprinted.
