So ive picked up vaping as hobby...
I have never smoked.
I have always vaped 0 nicotine

I went out today and went and did stuff with family, but did not bring my vape, I was vaping before I left then left it at the house. I then, got cravings and really wanted to vape within 3 hours. I began to feel sick and have withdrawal symptoms. So I then came back to the house and vaped. The felt alot better. I then went back out with a friend. I was planning on staying out till 9 or 10. But had to come back around 7:30 or 8 cuz i felt like I needed to vape. Withdrawal symptoms. I vaped, and now im fine.
Is this possible, am I getting addicted to 0mg E juice.
Thanks for the feedback people.

Hello and welcome. Is it possible it's psychosomatic, brought on by all the official horror stories of nicotine/smoking addiction. I've never heard of anyone having this kind of reaction to 0 nic juice before. Actually it would be somewhat rare even with nic containing liquid, at least imo, concerning someone who just started vaping. Is there any chance your liquid was misslabled or something? Maybe it does have nic. Even so, I don't know nic to be "that" addictive.

While the mislabeling idea is a possibility. And there is always room for error, nicotine contains a throat hit and non of mine do. And that is very very unlikely that it would be mislabeled because people could sue if they got nicotine juice and requested 0 and vaped it. So im pretty sure they would be careful about labling. I will however look into psychosomatic.

Yeah, most companies are pretty good about labeling, but mistakes do happen, wouldn't be the first time. Now keep in mind I'm just throwing out some guesses here, I'm no professional experienced in addictions. Just know what I know from my own experiences.

Mislabeling does happen. I ordered a batch of 36mg/ml base when I was starting to make DIY juice, and it came in labeled as 36, but it was really 0. That can mean that either the company just goofed on what they filled it with, or the labels could have been swapped and someone else who ordered 0mg could have gotten a nice sized bottle of 36mg(hopefully this didn't happen, as that could be a huge problem). Either way, mislabeling and mistakes can and do happen.

That said, I still believe it is all in your head. You are used to a certain routine, and with it changed, it threw you off. If there are physical withdrawal symptoms, it probably means there is at least something in the juice that is addictive(likely nicotine). It may even be a very small amount, and you may be a person who can become easily addicted to things. Some people get hooked on things a lot easier than other people.

Best way to test it would be to try making your own batch of DIY juice with some pg, vg, and flavoring, and then vape it exclusively for a few days. You could get all of that stuff at mtbakervapor for under 20 bucks shipped(assuming you live in the US, probably around 10 bucks if you only make 30mL.). If you don't have withdrawal symptoms while vaping that, it is all in your head. If you still get the withdrawals, there is probably something in the other juice that is getting you addicted.

Im gonna say it, why vape when you never smoked.....

I wish id never smoked for 35 years, i wish that i still wasnt putting anything in my lungs

So i dont understand why you would want to introduce any risk into your life....

Id quite happily swap you my addiction and 35 years smoke damaged lungs for your un-compromised (so far) lungs

If you want to taste flavours, mix them into some milk, its infinitely safer

You had to be impressed by smoking while being aware of its dangers subconsciously. So when you get same effects without seeing any demage, your brain should have adapted to smoking.
Smoking is not only nicotine. If it had been we would be free by eating eggplant or patches or gum.
There are gestures (Which I call Hollywood effects.) Imitations becomes habits so you find yourself smoking as soon as you are awake, smoking after every meal etc...
Now I think you are slave of gestures even if there is no nic.
If you had asked in the beginning we would not suggest you to try. Because we are surrounded with these purposefully penetrated gestures and you will now think "what the hack If I am addicted this, what is with nic?" Dont do my friend get rid of it while you can.

Could just be a great flavor. Or a relaxing experience. People can get addicted to anything. The only thing I kinda miss about smoking is just the solitude of going out for a smoke. A nice 5 minutes of quiet me time. I could still do that with my vape, but sometimes I just don't want to bother getting my coat on and going outside in the cold.

I'm guessing psychosomatic as well.
It is also true that some liquids labelled ZERO are also not entirely free of Nicotine. Enough for cravings? I think unlikely.
It sounds a little disconcerting, so I hope you don't keep running into troubles.

You don't mention anything about your e-cig - there are many types and and if there was a tiny bit of Nicotine in the liquid, the power (yield) could be relevant (at a push). The general consensus seem to be that Nicotine (through e-cigs) is not as addictive as smoking. Some say not at all. I'd fear that high power vaping accidentally with more than trace Nicotine could set up a mild habit, but even then, way less than tobacco products.
