Is this unusual?

Not sure if this is the right forum for this question, but since this is my first coil build, I'll ask here.

Aspire Speeder 200w
Power setting 19w
OBS Nano
SS316 7 wraps spaced.
Cotton Bacon
Black Note Prelude NET
.49 ohms

Built and wicked coil and on Friday morning finally got my mod. Put everything together and it all worked beautifully! No more factory coils for me! (I really hated those things)

Power mode 19w and was getting decent but smallish clouds. I'm not a 'chaser' so cloud size was about perfect. I just want my nic!

Cloud size lasted all day Friday and for about 2 hours on Saturday morning. All of a sudden I realized I was getting HUGE clouds. 3-4 times the size of initial clouds! I had changed nothing.

This isn't really a problem, just curious why it happened?

No, not a problem, unless you hate a cloud. Sometimes a fresh wick might take a little time to break in. Playing with the airflow, even a little bit, can make a big difference.

To add to Eskie's post. After a day or so if the coil hasn't broke in the way you like you can move it up or down, in or out. Just experiment this is how you learn to make it your own. As he said it don't take much to have a whole new experience.

The Aspire Speeder has a power curve setting on it. Maybe you might have accidentally changed it some how by hitting a button. That might have affected it. I don't have one myself (speeder). But I have a OBS Nano. It's prob a setting on the mod. YouTube videos might explain more about that function on the mod. Just an idea.....
