A few years ago a certain city here, which shall remain nameless, **cough - Boulder - cough** tried to pass laws making it illegal to smoke in your car regardless of whether children were in it or not. They also tried to pass a law to make it illegal to smoke outside. It didn't matter that it was your front porch on your property and that you paid the property taxes. The outdoor smoking ban failed miserably and the smoking in your car ban was modified so that it only applies when there are kids in the car. I have never heard of it being enforced and I see people smoking with their kids in the car all the time.

I have considered that there is probably a very small amount of nicotine in the vapor that comes out of my mouth. That amount is more than likely a trace amount at best and this is why I think that. I've been vaping 18mg nic juice. That's 1.8% nicotine per ml mixed in with greater amounts of VG and PG. So the total amount of nicotine in my carto is 2.7%. That's still a very small amount, all things considered. Sure, some of that is going to be released in the air as I vape, but some of it is going to remain in my body when it's absorbed. I seriously doubt that there's enough nicotine in that cloud of vapor to do any damage to anyone. Then again, I'm not blowing it directly in someone's face...well...unless it's my fiance and he vapes, too.

Absolutely! Vape your head off! Just don't drip and drive! LOL!

I'd also say use an auto for driving. The single disadvantage a manual has over the numerous problems of an auto is that it requires one hand to use. An auto you can leave hanging out of your mouth. i find it works a ton better for me and while it is the only reasonabl argument for an auto over a manual it isn't a bad one.

I was thinking they could make a mouth piece like a pipe that was hooked and easier to hold in ones teeth... e-cigs are so heavy. Modders please take it away.

Let us not forget that the vapor does contain nicotine (more than likely that's the sticky dew type mist that mickdoof is talking about). How much nicotine exactly? Not sure, but to be safe I keep vaping away from my family just as I did smoking.

There's no doubt the vapor it is putting nic into the air as it disperses. The good news is that these are very small amounts . You'd probably get more nic from eating potatoes or tomatoes than breathing second hand vapor, even at a vape' party. When we breath in and out, the worst thing we're putting out is carbon monoxide, yet no one yells 'stop breathing, you're asphyxiating me'. Or at least, not in seriousness. lol. Vape on. :vapor: JD

Yea, those are cool. Seems bulky though. I was thinking of just hooked cart(o) piece, like a hanger on your teeth. Interesting article though, how it was inspired by the potential risks of having you PV shoved down your throat by an Air Bag... Yikes. Think I'll stick to the manuals, least i'm more likely to grab the stearing wheel with it in my hand and not my mouth... Gives me the shudders.
