I just saw on Vapor Joes website that he is starting a forum. This is part of his statement below.

"The whole idea of the "The Forum" has sadly lost its way in the vaping community. Power hungry moderators, ridiculous rules, and arduous red tape have soured many."

You wanna bet that every page in this forum will be painted with bling ads from vendors, and tracking cookies galore, besides his un-moderated mayhem!

Truthfully i haven't found a deal on his site that was worthwhile since i have been vaping so I am not holding my breath that his forum will be much to talk about.

Sorry Joe, no referral tips from me!

I follow him on twitter. He has some pretty good deals but as soon as he posts, if you don't get on it quick, you may as well forget it as it will either be sold out, or you wait a month to take delivery. I think he is a victim of his own success sometimes as a lot of the websites he pimps simply cannot cope with the demand he generates.

Not sure if he's taking shots at ECF, even if he is, I am sure the powers that be are not that concerned about (yet another) vaping forum.

I'll check it out when he launches though.

Meh. There are a lot of "those" forums around - with less than 5,000 total posts and maybe a couple hundred members. If he wants to create yet another one - best of luck on the google searches.

I agree. I see a lot of stuff there, just for the sake of "stuff" being there, but not exactly a great deal or anything you would actually want either. The latest "deals" being touted all look like cheap fugly flashlight tube mods. And overpriced for what they are. Whee. I might add that his blog used to have a point too and seems to have lost it's way.

Was just a young buck at the time, but we used to go to a commodore 64 club with my mom, swap software with the other members, and pass along info about good BBS's

Yep... I ran a T.A.G. then Telegard BBS... until I got tired of having to pay for TWO phone lines.

He mentioned starting a forum on Mod Envy last week with the same blah blah blah as on his blog, only more derogatory about a certain forum being too strict. In chat I asked him if that meant his new forum would be filled with nonstop swearing, trolling and personal attacks, but he didn't answer me. I'll check out his place when it opens, but I have a feeling it will turn into another shark tank very quickly.

Haha! My story is similar. My parents took me with them to a bunch of bbs parties. I don't remember all of it but I know they loved to play L.O.R.D. if anyone knows that I'll burst out with fond laughter.

I still have some of those discs.... in fact I had so many I made a christmas tree from them and put the tiny xmas lites in the holes.... looked pretty

At least he removed the donations box from the blog, as he is making money on every "deal" link, every ad. Serious money.

I'm waiting for him to start his own religion. As long as there's a buck in it...
