Issue with Vinci 90 day warranty

I have been having some issues with my Vinci VooPoo mod. I contacted their customer service email and was instructed to send a video of the issue along with a copy of my receipt and box which I did. They are informing me that the video does not show evidence of the issue under warranty. The mod will not turn on!! I am well within my 90 days and the product is clearly defective. They told me that they do not suggest returning the mod back to them due to high shipping costs and return time but they will give me a 50% off coupon to buy another mod. I have yet to receive the 50% off and have wrote them back to let me know exactly what their 90 day warranty is. I have provided everything they required and now I have to buy another mod?? Their customer service is horrible. I already paid full price for my mod and now they want more money from me to replace their mod that is clearly defective. Has anyone had a good experience with getting a replacement mod from them instead of this ridiculous runaround??

I had a similar experience with the Air.
But, I had already tossed the box (live and learn!).
They are correct about the shipping cost to them from the US.
I agreed to take their coupon (which I have yet to use) and the coupon code to use on their online store was sent immediately. Maybe there's a holiday.
what bothers me is the US webstore I bought it from (don't recall which one) only has a 30d warranty. Seems to me the warranty from the manufacturer and resellers should be the same.
this would solve the problem.
