Personally I would go for the 30w then if you decide down the line later on that you want to sub ohm or run more power you have it to play with.

Also the 20w does have some inherent problems with it being PWM and not a flat DC current where if you go too high you will burn the crap out of your coils. Also the threading on the 20w 510 connector is a bit weak and I had to send one back after 2 weeks of use because nothing would screw down on it.

The 30w has these issues all solved, so does the 50w if you want the extra batterylife.

I dropped my 20w the other month and it broke so got the 30w to replace it and I have just today got the 50w for double the battery life.

So all in all the 30w is better and is worth the few extra Euro's compared to the 20w and the 50w for double the battery life beats them both hands down.

In my opinion :)

I agree. The 30W and 50W are much better devices, including for low power vaping. The 20W is very overpowered until you get to close to the 20W mark. Also the 30 and 50W have a much better 510. My old 20W is 6 months old now, and still works perfectly, but I gave it to a newbie friend. The 30W is only a few dollars more, but is a significantly better device.

50w will give you tons of battery life (about double what the 20 and 30 have). So, if nothing else, it's worth buying it just for that. Just because you have 50w doesn't mean you have to subohm or use the 50 watts. If one day you want to buy a subohm atty, well you will be ready. If not, no harm, no foul. You can vape at 8w all you like.

New to APV's here, this is going to be my 1st step up from ego models. I would like an Istick, probably with an Emow Mega or Aerotank V2...

I'm not into rebuiling or subohming. I'm happy with 1.5 or 1.8 coils.

Does the 30w make any sense to me or is the 20w enough?

Thanks!

Like other have said, the 30W is a better device than the 20W, the battery life is really great too.

I use one daily, they just fit perfectly in the hand, the method I vape anyway.

Plus you can use about any atomizer you want...low wattage or high.
