What is your favorite setup?I have a Quad Flex Survival Kit on order so I'll have two X's in a while, one black and one SS. Should be fun to play with that kit. Only cost me about $20. I just have to wait on that slow boat from China.

I will take a look at itI just picked up the joyetech eVic Primo Mini for $39.99 off of eightvape.com. It's a great little mod. Uses a single 18650, goes to 80w, has TC control, and comes with the procore aeries tank. I bought it as a take out and about cause it's small, light and very comfortable to hold. I have the eVic Primo 2.0 the dual 18650 and got the mini so I could carry in my pocket and feel like my pockets were being weighed down. You would have to purchase a single 18650 but depending on where you get the battery from you would certainly still be under you $50 budget. It's a great little mod it's worth a look at.

I am liking the NaughtyX for MTL at 1.8 Ohms, 12-14 Watts. I have it sitting on a dual 18650 box mod. So it's ridiculous overkill, the thing will last days, but that's my at home MTL set up. That's what I use the most. I've got an approx 50/50 @12-ish nic (banana cream, peanut butter, chocolate, honey flu cured pipe tobacco flavors mixed in) at the moment.
Yeah, I know... Thanks for reminding meOne of your requirements appeared to be pass through charging. If it is a requirement, look carefully at the specs as many mods do not allow for that.
I have 5 Istick 30's that are about 3 yrs old and going strong and all are used daily.Hey!
I haven't vaped yet, so I need a good setup. I'm on a budget... and I'm not gonna use any more than 50$. I will only use it while working on my computer, so charge while vaping is a MUST.
After a bit of research, I have been looking at Eleaf istick 30w, or innokin cool fire 4. These seem reliable + within price range.
If there are any other, please let me know.
I will also buy Eleaf gs Air m, but other tips about other tanks would be appreciated

It sounds like you're not really sure about vaping yet, so I'd go with something simple. Eleaf products are reliable, KT seem to be less so (Kangertech and I had a beautiful, self-destructive relationship of about 3 months, prior to self destruct sequence, unless they started out as duds...) That said, I'm clumsy, and was not caring for my vape equipment lovingly, LOL. But, I just don't think I'd try that over the reliability of an e-leaf. Best MTL for me (I haven't tried all of them) is the Nautilus 2, you can buy coils at various resistances, if you want MTL you could do that. I would really start with a stick if you're only vaping at work. If you decide you love it, you could then upgrade and keep your eleaf for a spare.... Or just go with the setup kit, really and see how it goes.
I started out like you! Vape only when I couldn't smoke. After I while, I was like, eh, and quit. Only to return a few years later with some more motivation, and I found the more I vaped (even dual using) the less I smoked and cigarettes faded away quite quickly, so don't underestimate the power of vaping, you may really, really like it
Carrying extra stuff (batteries, juice, coils) is a must for me so I don't have to worry about stuff like, "Is my tank full enough for today? and etc.)
Not the biggest fan for USB ports for charging, but it's better than going all out and then hating vaping.... You can always upgrade, again. Though it's really best if you have a removable batter to have an external charger, when you get to that point.
Good luck deciding! Anna

What about direct lung tanks? Any good and cheap ones?
Look, I'm not saying that KT products aren't great for some people, it's just that I'm not one of them. A mod can look gorgeous and still be unreliable. (Hi SmokAlien.) To be fair, I no longer purchase KT products, so I can't judge on their build quality at present, I just think what the guy is looking for is something easy, and I do (personally) consider eleaf to be a more reliable product overall. I'm just giving an opinion, which the guy *asked for*, he can feel free to reject it, just like anyone else's opinion. If you like your starter kit, that's fantastic. Offer a dissenting opinion.

I have a couple from Horizon Tech. The Arctic V8 and the Cerakoat. I got the Cerakoat because it was dirt cheap (Horizon Cerakoat Sub-Ohm Tank With Mask Coils and Clapton Coils) and I was trying to hit the order amount for free shipping, turns out it's an OK tank for DTL-not as airy as you might want and it gets hot when you chain vape over 55 Watts or so, but it's OK. The V8 is pretty good, lots and lots of different coils to choose from, including TC. But if all you want is a cheap sub-Ohm tank that works there are a bunch of them out there.
Old but good. What coils does it use though? Not available in some places. What do you guys think about Smok VCT Pro?? I can get this very cheapAround 6-7 $

I haven't used it but it appears to be a decent sub Ohm tank for 6 or 7 bucks. It has bottom fill, which is annoying. It has both bottom airflow and airflow on the drip tip, which is a trend that seemed to have died out as not being all that effective. The only coils I see for it are two: A 0.2 Ohm and a 0.6 Ohm, and they are both rated for 30-80 Watts, which is annoying if true. It is the size I like (22 mm) and it has a decent capacity (5 ml) but it doesn't really fit what I look for in a tank. The only thing I couldn't comment on is airflow and flavor, you kind of have to vape on a tank to find out. I would go for a Cerakoat (even though it doesn't have great airflow) instead as a cheapo tank because it has top fill and multiple coils and it's about the same price.

Can you Direct To Lung with cerakoat?
