I was amazed the other day to see NJoys and Blus at Costco, and then to see a sign outside my local 7-11 saying "we have electronic cigarettes!"

Our local 7/11 just put that sign out front too and I live in a small town outside of Pittsburgh, PA that is about as progressive as a third world country.

You got that right............and the next new thread will be "why dont you support you Local B&M and buy American.... instead of buying everything mail order from China", etc.

Answer: Where do you think they are getting their stuff from ?

It's growing quick in my little town too. Besides gas stations and 7-11, we have a vape shop, and a smoke shop with a juice bar (lil scary, but still). And a vape shop in the next town over, and 2 more within half hour drive. I see vapors more often now on the street. All of the shops want to stay and do get involved.

We must've gone to different tax schools. A booming market is exactly why the government will want their share. :D

Yeah, that thought struck me just as I hit the "submit" button.

Naw... it's GREAT!

The bigger our numbers, the less likely the goobermint can tax/regulate/outlaw it.

eta: (But only if vapers speak up, band together, and fight the dumb laws some are trying to pass)

^^edited as per Kodiaks' irrefutable logic.

(Dangit, can't get nothin' over on this crowd)

I've already seen that thread started on ECF 2 or 3 times. And haven't been here very long.

Wish I could pick up 28 gauge kanthal at the gas station. That would be sweet!

I do agree though. The wife and I were driving through town the other day. We saw a guy and his wife vapping in their van at the stop light. I said hey look babe. Then they saw us, and I'd imagine the guy said the same to his wife.

For some reason I haven't had good luck spotting any vapers here in Reno besides my brother an I. Then today this lady saw me vaping and busted out, Hey! I have the exact same Ecig! ( SVD ) so we were chit chatting for a bit about it and that was the first. Then later i was at Walmart getting my Vaultz case which is awesome btw. Saw this guy Vaping on a eGo battery and wanted for the life of me to go up to him an say something.. Too little time to stop an say something, had to make it an in and out trip. Hopefully I'll be seeing more tomorrow!

I think you are both right. Yes its more likely to be taxed but its also more likely not to be outlawed. A fair nicotine tax would be better than a ban.

Hopefully the government stays a step behind as usual and taxes prepared eliquid and not unflavored nic. Probably a pipe dream but one can hope.
