lorrilard is spending big bucks on developing this brand. i now see them at nearly every gas station. we all know that they are not the best product, but it will introduce many people to vaping and ecigs. vaping is not going away and it think this is proof. as time as past i see more and more people vaping. when i first tried vaping, i was the only one that i knew doing it besides this people on this forum. now there are several people at work that have quite smoking and picked up on vaping, the popularity is taking off

and thats a good thing, the very first time I tried one it was a blu throwaway, I had to pull overtime fixing a machine at work and knew I wouldnt be able to step away to smoke too often so I got one to smoke while working, kinda liked it.
had the starter kits not been so hard to find i wouldnt have found ECF while searching the web for them.

They will become a gateway to other mods. Some people love them but the others will search for bigger and better I hope instead of going back to the stinkies. I know some that have tried the little ones and they gave up and are a little hardened to vaping now. Mostly because of a lack of patience. As long as the vape and tosses are kept safe good. Don't much like the throwaways because of one more thing going into landfills. I will bet you this though I bet the TV adds get banned. Don't like it but I think that is given.

A lot of folks stick with the cig-a-likes, I would say the folks on this forum are just a drop in the vaping population bucket. I have friends who have stuck with V2 and similar companies and have no wish to go bigger. I still use the cig-a-likes for stealth and the rare occasion I have to dress professionally. I like being able to clip one in a pocket for breaks in teaching or meetings.

blu going big can be a double edged sword imo. blu will either help people quit altogether or be a gateway to another mods. worst case scenario is that people will realize that blu is trash and people will give up an e cigs and associate all good and bad brands together and call it junk. my first attempt at quitting which was blu failed miserably. im second attempt, I went straight to vv and it was a success

I vaped at a bar all night last night and saw another person vaping an eGo like PV. Then I spoke to a girl my brother was talking to while i was outside vaping with my brother as he smoked. She was smoking, but she saw that I was vaping and she said "Oh you have one of those e-cigarettes? I have one too, it looks just like that one!" (I had my 600mAh eGo with me) she said it was in her purse. She said she had tried vaping but she just couldn't stick with it so she went back to smoking. I said "Well there are definitely good ones and bad ones" and my brother kinda stopped the conversation and continued his I think. Either way, thats 2 people at least aware of eGos in 1 bar! :)

lol thats about the only annoying part "those ecig thingys" the guy at work saw my vision twist and nova mini and said same thing -that one of those electronic cigarettes? i saw that commercial on tv last night with that actor. so while it may have its down side its putting the product into peoples minds at least, then if they come upon someone vaping for real they have a chance to recognize the idea and maybe get an explanation as to why ones better then the other. but like with all things exposure is most important because most people will never just notice them behind the counter on the wall at 7-11 otherwise. and people got to see it and know its there before they can even realize something like this may work for them. and i dont think you will see a joyetech or provari commercial anytime soon......................

Speaking of actor, I never seen that guy before. I guess I missed all his movies. An actor has to be on some hard times that they have to resort to a blu ad. At least have someone I recognize like Scott Baio. Start the commercial off with the theme song to Charles in charge. Maybe that guy who played Zack on saved by the bell. Freakin Schneider from one day at a time! That girl from small world wonder, the robot. Soliel Moon fried rice from punky Brewster.

The first disposable I vaped was a BLU - I have to say I liked the flavor. I know JC makes it - but cannot sell it to the public. I have tried mixing their different flavors - nope... Now their kit - well - over priced and not good. My friend got one and the batts dies in abt 3 months...and they wouldnt even reply to her emails.

My concern is yes they are dumping money into it, promoting it, putting all over the place, but look at the prior track record of companies like Lorillard and Phillip Morris. Look what they did to cigarettes. What's to stop them from screwing this up for all of us and before we know it, boom, there's all kinds of jacked up crap in their cartos and it gets banned or so heavily regulated it drives it underground and all we can get after that is crap tobacco and menthol flavors.

valid point but they didnt seem to put a dent in the roll your own stores, so while it may become a problem they cant stop everything and with all the current bans in so many places vaping is already underground for a lot of people and this is politics, they cant figure out how to slap mega taxes on it yet like they do tobacco

Most of the items (except for one) we need will allways be legal and not taxed other than the normal sales tax.

PG, VG, flavorings, kanthal, silica wick, SS Mesh, Cotton, aw imr batteries, chargers, metal tubes, voltage circuits, you catch my drift.

The one thing I'm nervous about is regulation on the concentrated nic. If they mess with my wizard labs I'll be extremely upset.
