Give us some more details, how much did you smoke, what brand?? What are you using, what flavor??? Don't be afraid to lean...we've all been there.

I smoked Marlboro Menthol lights. Recently I was up to like a pack and a half a day sometimes =( I had tried Blu a few years ago and it didn't cut it for me at all. Recently a work friend started vaping with an ego twist and got me interested so I went for it and the hubby did too =) I have two Ego Twist batteries and some Kanger T3 and Evod Clearomizers (not sure which I like better yet.. like both really). The only juices I have at the moment are from Pinkspot (what my friend recommended). So far my favorites are Red Apple and Honey (especially). They're both kind of herbal and not too sweet.

However, I might have lost my mind and placed a few orders that I'm waiting from Alhusion, The Vapor Chef and DFW Vapor. I think I'm going to place an order for a big bottle of Honey from Pinkspot (of course my favorite was the tiny free sample, lol).

Who is your favorite juice vendor?

Congrats and welcome aboard! I agree with other posts here....be kind to yourself, enjoy the Vapes and soon youll get back your full sense of smell, taste, and be cleaning car, house; getting the smoke residue out of your life! WooHoo!

We never smoked in the house, so thankfully I don't have that to contend with. The car is a different story. I'm sure I'll start smelling it on things I didn't think of though.

Pink Spot does have awesome flavors; a little expensive for me, tho. I get most of mine from Mount Baker Vapor. And I DIY with their flavors, too. The prices can't be beat, but I usually have them add a shot or two of flavor.

Favorite flavors? Juicyfruit gum, red and black licorice, and Ecto Cooler (like the Hi-C drink)

I luv threads like this. When it hits home and cigs are gone the magnitude of the life changing event simply can't be minimized. Kicking cigs to the curb AND still feeling whole is an elusive beast.

Hardware is not the money waster. Juice is. Hardware has longevity and bad juice lasts all of 10 vapes if you're lucky. Samples samples samples. I order all day vapes from multiple vendors.

Test everything and anything. When u find a juice that u can knock down 2 consecutive tanks of order a 30ml and chase the next flavor. Don't force a tank of nasty socks because you feel guilty. Put it in the failbox and move on. Once you have a half dozen that you love you will always be satisfied.

I am beyond sure that I'll start to DIY at some point, I'm a DIY kinda gal, but for right now I'm glad I'm sampling. I thought I'd be into the really fruity or dessert flavor, but it turns out I'm liking subtle, herbal flavors the best. Never would have guessed. Once I figure out the kinda stuff I'm really into I'm gonna do up the DIY =)

"Kicking cigs to the curb AND still feeling whole is an elusive beast" You said it perfectly.
Yuuuuup I've spent the most money on juice so far and that's all on samples! Though tonight I ordered my first big bottle based on a sample. Haven't ordered from MBV yet, but that is on my list based on what I've seen here. There are an astounding number of choices!

This is a very encouraging post for me. I've been smoking analogs over half my life. Quit a few times here and there and always went back. Been interested in vaping for a while and even tried it a few years back with a SmokeStik that sucked. pulled the trigger the other day and got my first real kit. Been 3 days now and I've smoked about 7 analogs whereas I would have smoked a pack a day. I would call that improvement. Good luck to you and to me as well.

Robin and WarHawk, hang in there, it DOES get easier, amazingly so, truthfully. 45 years smoking and I'm now approaching 4 months without a single one in that time. (And I was a degenerate smoker, like constantly!) Right now I have zero desire for a cig. Vaping gives me what I want, without the crap, without the negatives. To be honest, vaping/not smoking is probably THE most positive change I've ever made in my life. Keep up the work, you'll be rewarded.

and I am an FIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE. This is seriously amazing. I've had a slight urge for an analog a few times, but I think that was more out of habit than anything and I overcame it easily. I'm chain vaping ... but that's OK.

For 3 days I still smoked a few analogs while becoming acquainted with my PV (got in on Thursday) and wasn't rushing myself, but when I finished my last one in the pack last night I decided I wasn't going to buy another pack.

Every time I've tried to quit before, by now I would be pacing, shaking, exhibiting flu-like symptoms and wanting to kill (even with the patch or gum). I'm sure you all know that drill.

I realize it's only been a day, but I'm going to pat myself on the back regardless (and also knock on wood).
THIS IS A BIG DEAL.

I can't thank you all enough for being so cool and helpful to an absolute newb with a whole lot of questions.

Don't be afraid to pat yourself on the back, I have a very good feeling about you! Ecigs are a plain old MIRACLE, aren't they? Keep that determination and you will continue to surprise yourself! I am very happy for you!

I stumbled onto the Pink Spot juices on my very first e-cig purchase, didn't realize how good they were until I tried other brands. They are some primo stuff. I'm really hooked on their Tropical Punch flavor. It's like eating candy on every vape...
