Hey everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself. Been smoking analogs for 18 years. Last couple years really wanting to quit but no success. Over Thanksgiving break, ran into someone vaping with an eGo vv v3. He was telling me all about it. It sparked my interest. I have tried the "cigg"style ecigs before but they didn't do anything for me. Poor battery life, vapor output, etc. Well after seeing this person blowing plumes of vapor it got me thinking. After doing tons of research the last few weeks I pulled the trigger!

Just received my MVP2 yesterday. I am loving it! I also bought an ego battery for the wife, Protank2, Evod tank, replacement coils and juice. For $140 total I think I got a good start! Without this forum I probably would have been lost.

Hi Empi!

Welcome to ECF. It sounds like you did your homework before jumping in. You picked up a pretty nice kit from the sounds of it. Good to see that your wife is also willing to vape. That should make quitting smoking a whole lot easier ...

What kind of juices did you order with your gear, and did you order enough for both of you to start out with? It would be bad if you didn't calculate that one out and only one of you could vape!

Good luck!

I ordered a variety pack from Halo. 6 - 7oz 18mg bottles. And then they also threw in a bonus 10 oz bottle because of the holidays. But those are still in transit. So yesterday when my wife said my MVP arrived I stopped by a local cigar shop and picked up 2 10 oz bottles of 60/40 18mg juice.

I wanted to order from mtbaker but they were closed when I was placing my orders.

I think we should have enough to last us for a good while till next reorder.

I have to say... since yesterday evening, I haven't craved a cigarette yet. I'm loving it.

Thanks guys!

It is definitely better to have both of you making the switch together so far my husband and I have switched and got my 73 year old father (who lives with us ) to switch along with our boss ( we work in a auto body shop together) and a couple co workers to ALL switch at the same time. It is GREAT we all share juice and if a battery dies on us during the day we have extras around the shop to keep us all vaping. A family that VAPES together stays together ( AND SMELLS BETTER ALSO!! ! !

Congrats! You definitely came to the right place to do your research, my MVP was what finally allowed me to kick the nasty habit! It's a great device. I will say that IMO the Protank 3 is a definite step up from the Protank 2, if you find the 2 isn't quite satisfying enough as far as throat hit and flavor. However, the coils are hard to come by and seem to burn out really fast for me compared to Protank 2, but it's worth a shot down the road.
