I've found it much easier to use syringes rather than measuring cups. You can get free ones at publix, cvs and walgreens. I use the 1ml for flavors, and 3 and 5mls for the nic/pg/vg.
Thanks for the hint on the free syringes! I just went to one Walgreens and took the 10ml oral syringe they sell to the pharmacist and asked him if they happen to have any in different ml sizes- he gave me a 10ml (exactly like the one they sell), a 5ml and a 2.5ml dropper. I then went to the other Walgreens (I didn't want to look like a freak getting a bunch of syringes from the one place and just took what he handed me) and did the same drill. They gave me a 3ml and 6ml syringe.
I then went to a local pharmacy (Navarro) and they had a 10ml syringe for sale that has a really cool long tube that goes on the end of it. It is a little smaller in diameter than a drinking straw but long enough to go to the bottom of a 30ml bottle or more. I bought two of those as they were super cheap! So for 3 bucks I have now have like 6 syringes and a dropper. I am going to Publix tonight for some groceries and I plan to visit their pharmacy also!
I then called a friend of mine that sells stuff on Ebay and he has one ounce amber colored bottles with the dropper in them. Woo Hoo! I am on my way to setting up a great little lab here! My High School Chemistry teacher would be so proud of me.
