It seems too simple- am I missing something?

I've found it much easier to use syringes rather than measuring cups. You can get free ones at publix, cvs and walgreens. I use the 1ml for flavors, and 3 and 5mls for the nic/pg/vg.

Thanks for the hint on the free syringes! I just went to one Walgreens and took the 10ml oral syringe they sell to the pharmacist and asked him if they happen to have any in different ml sizes- he gave me a 10ml (exactly like the one they sell), a 5ml and a 2.5ml dropper. I then went to the other Walgreens (I didn't want to look like a freak getting a bunch of syringes from the one place and just took what he handed me) and did the same drill. They gave me a 3ml and 6ml syringe.

I then went to a local pharmacy (Navarro) and they had a 10ml syringe for sale that has a really cool long tube that goes on the end of it. It is a little smaller in diameter than a drinking straw but long enough to go to the bottom of a 30ml bottle or more. I bought two of those as they were super cheap! So for 3 bucks I have now have like 6 syringes and a dropper. I am going to Publix tonight for some groceries and I plan to visit their pharmacy also!

I then called a friend of mine that sells stuff on Ebay and he has one ounce amber colored bottles with the dropper in them. Woo Hoo! I am on my way to setting up a great little lab here! My High School Chemistry teacher would be so proud of me. :D

Yes, I have sent WL a message hoping to add some bottles to my order that are smaller than 1 ounce. I figure I am going to need to different sizes. My order shows "still processing" so I am hoping I catch it before it gets shipped.

I have been setting up the space I am going to use already. I am so having fun with all of this!

Why shipped? Aren't they close enough for you to drive over? :)

Unfortunately they are an hour away from me. During the week it would not be possible for me to drive over there unless my work requires me to drive up to Fort Lauderdale or closer. However, occasionally my work requires me to drive near their location. If it works out that I need something and I am going that way, it would work out.

I do have to run up to West Palm Beach for a mediation on Thursday, so if I can't add to my order I will pop over there on my way up.

*UPDATE*

I decided to just update this thread rather than start a new one.

I received my DIY stuff today! @HawkeyeFLA- it turned out that I had to go up to West Palm Beach today for work so I worked it out with John to just pick up from them on my way back to Miami.

Super awesome nice guy! I will post a separate positive review in a bit. He threw in some extra stuff and I got some empty bottles in place of the shipping charges.

So, I now have: 250ml nic in PG base, 250ml PG, 120ml VG, 555 flavor, Orange Cream flavor, Koolada (thrown in free), and an experimental Desert Ship concentrate (thrown in free), several bottles, syringes (from various places), TPA Cotton Candy from DIY Shop and Irish Cream flavor from DIY Shop.

Man, I am so excited. If it weren't so late and I wasn't so exhausted from all of my running around today and I didn't have the need to watch the Heat win the play-offs :D I would be mixing right now. Instead, I will still myself and wait until tomorrow when I am fresh and can think straight.

Whew! Long post here. Did I mention I was excited? lol

Ohhh. Orange Creme. I had an OC from a vendor as a freebie once and loved. Reminds me of the frozen drink they sell in Epcot at the France Pavilion. When I finally do start DIY, it's on my list to make. Even if it's just one I take with me when I goto the park. :)

Cool. I got it because it reminds me of Orange Creamsicles (spelling?) I used to LOVE as a kid. I am hoping to re-create it!

It's doable for sure. The drink at Epcot is similar to the frozen treat, and the vape I had was similar to both. It was a 50/50 VG/PG blend, if that helps. :)

That makes sense. When I first saw it I just HAD to try it!

I have a short list of things I want to explore. Including Key Lime and a few others. Cherry is on that list ... and eventually I will master that flavor without Nyquil flavor. That's the only flavor so far that I've found challenging to find. High Caliber's is decent, but the cherry seems too subtle for me.
