You know I just reread the first post and realized I'd left out a few things.

Some background on the thoughts that were rolling thru my brain in that first picture as I tried to get a handle on this ecig thing.

I turned 50 this year. Smoked up to 2 packs of Marlboro Light 100's per day for over 30 years. I was feeling it.
My dad has 3rd stage emphysema and my mom COPD.

Words cannot express how much I wish this had come along sooner. Cannot.

It shows Wader sir. This is no knock on any of the other great people who work for V4L, but you're the most active here on the forums. Your enthusiasm comes through on every post. You truly love your job, and as far as I'm concerned, you're great at it.

V4L is the ecig equivalent to Dogfish Head. A place concerned more with quality than money, with great employees who care. I seriously doubt you guys have any morale problems. Thank you Wader sir for everything you do.

Congrats, Wader.
I recently saw a show about lottery winners. They had this one guy on who always fed the squirrels in the park. One day, he feeds some type of very rare squirrel - can't remember if it was the color or what. He claimed that the Native Americans believed that it was life changing lucky to come across one of these squirrels. The next day he won a million dollar house!
So, if I haven't lost you yet with my poor story telling ability, did you save these squirrels before or after you got that job at V4L? Your reply may influence my plans for tomorrow seeing as the power ball lottery gets drawn tomorrow night. LOL.

It was exactly one year ago today I received my first V4L kit as a complete nube.

It was an Ultimate Auto Kit with 2 black batts. There was a fruit sampler and a tobacco sampler and a bunch of bonus carts thrown in.

My first drag<hehe> was off a 36mg Cowboy and I thought I was gonna die coughing. I was like "rut roh" this isn't gonna work for me at all. My next puff was of an 18mg Watermelon and I was in Heaven!

It seems that this might work after all!! The clouds parted....the Sun shined down!

Anyway...It is a year later and this place is like home now. V4L has been a lifesaver.

Funny thing is...I was unemployed and had been for some time. While researching ecigs on the forum here I discovered V4L wasn't too far from me. I dropped a few hints to Mark and after several PM's back and forth I got an invite to come on down. I expected an interview...what I got was PUT TO WORK!

So I can't really tell you just how much this place means to me. Steve, Mark, Mariano, Chad, Mel, Christie, Bobby, Tim, Dave....and everyone behind the scenes... It is cliche, but is more than just cliche. You ARE family to me.

And this forum and all of you wonderful folks that keep this place active and lively...I love being able to help and just being part of something as important as I consider ecigs to be.

I should close now before this turns into a book ..words can't tell ya'll how happy I am to be here anyway!

I will leave you with a picture of the event that changed my life literally.....the unveiling of my first kit 1 year ago today:
