It Was So Bad !

This is a snippet from a review post I did a long while back---still makes me laugh sometimes I am easily amused ok....

Honey Wood tobacco-The one and only flavor by Flavor West so far that had me run out of the room screaming by its smell alone. Imagine walking into a room with 1000 honeysuckles- if this is your thing you will love it. To me it smelled just awful- so floral I was gagging.

I had this flavor triple bagged and could still smell it in every corner of my house for weeks

So in your DIY journey what flavors have given you a really bad experience like mine? What flavors would you not recommend under any circumstances? I know a couple of people have said M type---what is yours? Want the gory details

For me TFA Cheesecake... Oh Laaawd!!! Went to take a whif and let the bottle touch my nose, I still gag just thinking about it.... I'd rather chew on tinfoil than have to smell it again. Funny thing is I still have it

TFA Blackberry - So floral it was like being in a perfumers warehouse No really, I tried steeping. I tried mixing it with other juices to lower the percentage involved. I said "Well. I'll use it up as an air freshener." I finally tried in the candle warming dish where you have the liquid sitting above the candle in a dish. Got a massive headache from smelling it. Decided to throw out the warming liquid and the blackberry flavor - in the big outside trash can.

Never again.

My god that was horrible. The drain still smells like it.

OMG me too..gag...blackberry...cough.....and after I washed and rinsed, rewashed and rerinsed a bottle that had it in...the smell is still in there months later

Also, after I opened the cap on a bottle of TFA 's Mocha and the Tiramisu ......I'm stll gagging months later

Lorann Pistachio. I love pistachios, but this was simply offensive. Absolutely dreadful.

I once made the mistake of mixing Lorann pecan, which is not bad, with Lorann black walnut, which is really nice in tobaccos. They do not get along at all. It was like a fight broke out in my mouth. Some flavors do not play well with others...but then this one I suppose I should have predicted.

My first attempt at a mint vape was Lorann peppermint. Like an idiot I made a 10% flavor juice. I literally yelled in agony. It was like my brain had been shot by an Altoid shotgun, and the pain lasted for a while. Didn't even bother cleaning the carto, just threw it out. Haven't wanted to go near the stuff since. I get a headache just thinking about it.

No such traumatic experiences for me yet but I sure am enjoying reading about y'alls!

I've only done one mix-it-myself so far, TFA Black Honey Tobacco at 4%, and I love it. The chances of me ever using 20% of flavoring in a juice are slim and none. Slim is a long shot and none is the very heavy favorite.

Both spearmint and peppermint are oils, so they might be good at like 2 drops per 30 mL. There may be some water-soluble versions now that are more dilute. Not that I plan to revisit it...

I have heard that from alot of people---never tried that one but I did like Nature's Flavors Kona Cream.
