The FIRST thing I do when I get Nicotine Base from ANY Vendor is to Dilute a Small Unflavored 10ml Batch down to what I use on a Day-to-Day Basis.

Then I vape it. If it tastes OK, then I will use it for DIY.

If it doesn't, then at least I haven't Wasted a Bunch of PG & VG (and Possibly Flavoring/Sweeteners).

I never thought about in untill now, sounds like a good idea

Yeah... DIY is like making Spaghetti Sauce.

You can add the Finest Spices from around the World. But if you Start With Tomato Sauce that Tastes like Socks, people just Aren't going to want a Second Helping.

I got seriously unvapable Nic from a reputable vendor. Got lucky as I made 5ml test batches, all tasted weird and smelled like high heaven (cat piss). Made a few more batches sans Nic and all was good! Contacted the vendor and got the reply that the Nic was good as 100's of people buy it and the issue was most probably my atomizer! Needless to say it was easy to chalk off that vendor from the list, next purchase was from ecigexpress and I found out what quality Nic is supposed to taste like!

Hoosier,Are you planning on checking out the settling and hot spot within a bottle of Nicotine with other suppliers to come to some type of con tenses?

Checking a theory...well double checking. I've got some thoughts on this and trying to get to firm conclusions. Not sure if I can accurately verbalize them, and if I could then it's a question on if I should.

That's probably as clear as the glasses of a honey dipper at the end of a busy day...

In my first vaping months I didn't shake and loaded two something's the same for a day trip. One was horrible, harsh and the flavor was kind of struggling hard and the other tasted so good I was I heaven but I was chain vaping and you know, probably not getting any nic to speak of. So I shake shake shake. But I still don't understand how it's relevant to smell, taste. Harshness drowning flavor, yes but bad taste no. So that's my question. OP got both, bad and then too strong due to not mixing IMO. Didn't shake but also it was oxidized nic for some reason? Or from a oxidized source? Or from what? What makes one nic taste different from another? PG...VG ...them mixed? I wanna know!

I have had some batches that have had fishy taste to them, reminded me of fish oil. Couldn't figure out why because it was the same flavoring. Didn't think it was the nic because other batches tasted fine. It's a 120 ml bottle of 36mg vg base.

Maybe it was because I didn't shake the nic before I used it. Got some kind of bad separation of the vg nic base I was using.

I Will be trying the ecx nic soon thanks.

I got some nic that has a tobacco taste to it. It absolutely RUINS any kind of dessert vape I make.

Can somebody give me name of a place where I can get nic solution that is very neutral tasting?

Nude Nicotine claims tasteless, odorless Nic. I ordered from them for the first time a few days ago.
