Hi all. I've been considering getting one of these for a few months now. I've seen pBusuardo's excellent review of the device and am about 90% sure I will order one this week but I have a few questions for those of you who have had these a while:

1. On the ElectroStix page mention is made of the charging port being somewhat flimsy and sometimes either not charging or coming loose from the bottom. Do any of you experience this?

2. My reason for wanting this is that I already own a VV Gripper and love that device. Still it's kind of cheaply made and I'm looking for something with a bit more heft. Is the MVP well made? I don't take the gripper out of the house for fear of dropping it.

3. How big is it compared to the gripper?

4. What are you opinions on long term durability?

5. How easy is it to use?

6. Should I be waiting for a version 2?

hey I've had the MVP since the initial release and I LOVE it!

1.I've had not problem with the charging port whatsoever. as long as your not yank wires out of it our forcing them in, I think you'll be fine.

2. It's very solid. Sturdy no loose parts. Also has a nice weight to it.

3. I don't own a gripper but I can say it fits well in my hand. it's not too big. I think they hit it at just the right size.

4. as far as long term durability I'd say the only thing you'd have to worry about is the built in battery dying. Mine is still laying me about 2-3 days of heavy vaping on a charge.

5. Its so easy to use! three clicks turns it on. Three clicks turns it off. The side buttons when first clicked show the useless puff count. After the puff count goes away it shoes you the current voltage. When it shows you the voltage you can then change it to whatever you want.

6. I haven't heard anything about a version 2 but I'd definitely be in for one! The version 1 is a great pv though and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a solid vv mod.

I like it. I don't have a gripper so can't comment on the size. It definitely has heft, not sure how durable it is. It does have an odd little charger.

The only thing I'm not overly fond of is the button. The button is flush with the body of the pv. I think I'd like it a little better if the button was extended out a bit. Charge does last forever.

I'd do some comparison shopping. Because it has a buit in battery, I'd go with whoever gives the longest warranty.

I agree with this post completely!
The updated model I think has ego threading or at least that's what I've seen in videos. I would of preferred that but it wasn't a deal breaker then and I don't regret buying one for me and one for my girl..
I take my provari and my mvp with me daily..

ohh one other question how big is the fire button? i really like the giant can't miss button on my gripper

if you're not looking at it and just feeling for the button it's easy to miss. I've been driving or watching TV etc and while tying to find the button turn the device in my hand a couple times feeling for it. it's flush with the device.

The MVP is pretty solid. I've dropped it a few time, no dings yet. I do have 2 minor scratches on it, but no worry. I don't like the charging cable that came with it, I just use my cell phone charger on it. I do have the "V2", and it's worked well for Kanger T3, and Vivi Novas. I really liked the clearos that came with the kit.

I love my MVP and use it daily. I like that I can leave the house with a full charge and not have to worry about taking extra batteries with me. I didn't know for sure if I would be a "box" fan but after having it for a couple of weeks I find myself looking at more box mods than regular tube ones.

This,according to their website.
What is the V2 Version for iTaste MVP - Best Electronic Cigarette | E Cigarette Manufacturer| Innokin

I'm reading that as their is no Version 2?

"In a word, there is no V2 or V2 version for the iTaste MVP, all the iTaste MVP we are selling are the same. The so called "V1"
are unfinished testing kits which have never been available for sale! Only the reviewers have got some so called "V1".

We sent some un-finished iTaste mvp to some reviewers, some may call that V1 and the finished one V2, actually no v1 or v2."

Version 2 has updated ego threading on the device so no adaptor is needed for t3s and the like. Maybe not technically a v2 but definitely a change.

I keep thinking something is wrong with mine because it never needs to be charged. Someone posted a pdf. of the instructions, and the instructions said to let the battery run down a couple times because it extends the life of the battery.
