Glad to hear everyone is enjoying their MVP's! After using mine for almost a month, I love it even more! So reliable, never misfires, insane battery life. Pretty much anywhere I am, I have the ability to plug it up, in the car, playing xbox, in the kitchen. Even if it's completely dead (which is rare) I can just plug it in for a few minutes and get enough charge to last me until wherever I can plug it up again. I've since stopped using my protank as much and now only use it for pluid, my cheapo clearos for trips, and when I'm at home I'm dripping in a 510 Cisco LR atomizer. It performs great! If you haven't tried dripping, I highly recommend it. I've even stopped keeping my egos charged because I hardly ever need to use them. Honestly, other than daydreaming about a REO every once in a while, I don't see myself buying another mod for a long time. I think I've found "the one" with my MVP. Happy vaping everybody!

My MVP decided to go for a swim on Sunday. It fell out of my shirt pocket and straight into the river, it was only a couple feet deep so I got it out pretty quick though there was still plenty of water pouring out of the usb and micro usb ports. Figured it was a goner and spent the rest of the day kicking myself for not paying attention or carrying an ego. Never tried to fire it in hopes a bowl of rice would be my savior. After about 18 hours of the rice treatment I fired it up and low and behold, the damn thing worked. The puff counter was reset but everything seems to be fine (knocking on wood). Hope it stays strong. WTG MVP!

Ok, sure this is some kind of fluke, short, whatever... But been using the new MVP around 26 hrs, not heavily though. Still was showing green, but started cutting out and not coming back on. Put on charger, tried again, couple puffs and off again. First time charging... Possible the battery meter just needed to be calibrated by full charge, or something going wrong? Any ideas?

Glad that you were able to save it, FishinMT! I don't know what I'd do without mine!

Fresh water can be pretty forgiving, and the quick rice treatment surely helped.

I usually try to charge mine when the counter starts getting up to around 900, and rarely see the yellow light :p And if I remember to turn it off then on after charging, I also avoid the 999 firing cycle.

I charge mine when it gets to the yellow light, usually. I have gotten to the red light, before, though. I don't vape too much, so I haven't gotten to 999 yet!

And in response to the post before that, it was probably about 900 puffs too.

Wonder if that might be it, Kristin? I hope it's okay now!

I've had it for about 2 months and the battery hasn't been red yet, I keep meaning to let it go all the way down to give it a full charge, but it just doesn't get there before I happen to throw it in the car or wall charger. Thing is a beast - really glad I got it. Maybe I'll get a mech mod down the road, but that urge has been killed by the mvp and low res carto tanks - hits like a monster, built like a beast, and lasts forever.

I've noticed that sometimes when I get into chain vape mode, with r-e-a-l-l-y long draws, I'll hit the time-out, and it shuts down. Maybe?

It might also be an issue with your topper. The MVP does have short protection, so if there's something awry with that, it's going to shut down. (Presumably until the short is removed, but how does it know until you turn it back on and try again? Maybe it checks for short when powered up... don't know about that, but it could be.) Check your coil resistance if you can, change to a different topper and see if that clears it up.

It doesn't have a battery meter, so no recalibration. Devices that monitor battery state - i.e. laptops - do need a full discharge now and then to calibrate that, but the MVP doesn't.

I was taking longer draws than normal trying to test different kinds of draws on the DCT I bought today because I've never used one. I'm gonna let it finish charging and try again. After that happened, I tried another delivery device and it did it again. So who knows. Just got it yesterday, so if I have to, there's still plenty of time for an exchange as I purchased from fasttech. Just don't want to have to wait again lol.

remember when screwing on the juice delivery device: snug, not tight. If the topper is too tight, then it'll read as a short.

That's why I use the supplied beauty ring for my iclear30, and the Protank's skirt with it. And with each, there still a little tiny gap between the 2. The MVP can be finicky, but I can deal with it's quirks... I have cats, after all :)
