Depends on what your battery voltage is when you pull it out and replace it. On my regulated device, when it can no longer fire typically it is at 3.7 volts. One usually doesn't want to drain an IMR battery less than 3.5 volts, to maintain battery longevity. If you over discharge an IMR it may not be able to recharge if drained below 3 volts.
