iTaste VTR battery red but keeps on going!

Battery indicator light has been on red for past few hours on my iTaste VTR, but it continues to vape strong! Usually I yank the battery out and put a fresh one when it blinks yellow, but now I am thinking that might be too early.
Any recommendation on when to recharge the battery on iTaste?

Depends on what your battery voltage is when you pull it out and replace it. On my regulated device, when it can no longer fire typically it is at 3.7 volts. One usually doesn't want to drain an IMR battery less than 3.5 volts, to maintain battery longevity. If you over discharge an IMR it may not be able to recharge if drained below 3 volts.
