Please advise what is the recommended configuration. I too noticed this. do we leave it alone. I believe only 1 o-ring is catching on the collector tank.

remove the adjustable pin from the ithaka new rebuildable part
or
the adjustment screw from the brass center post in the collector tank?

My experience was if I left the adjustable pin on it pushes the JGG's brass center pin about halfway out of the collector tank.

Imeo, just got the new piece in the mail. Awesome job again! Have it set up with a 30g microcoil on cotton and this thing is hitting like a freight train!

I do have a question though...on the JustGG in 18650 mode, there is a bit of a gap with the adjustable center post. Is it advisable to remove the adjustment screw on the center post? It fits perfectly with out it. Thanks again!

Interesting I never even thought of that to remove the adjustment screw from the brass post in collector tank.

Even when I removed the adjustable pin it still pushed out the the brass post ever so slightly from collection tank. Which had me concerned since the whole idea of the collection tank is to protect liquid from getting to the batteries.

I agree. a concern is liquid leaking into the battery. for me with the ithaka pin attached the center post appears to having only 1 o-ring seated.

it seems that you could take out the ithaka adjustable pin. to shorten it up. but looking for additional advice. then again the slits in the adjustable pin might have something to do with the air flow. and if its gone it might restrict the airflow.

I always use my Ithaka without the adjustable pin addon as my Just GG/GGTS already handles that. With regards to JGG you are fine. Its true that the Ithaka pin side is flat but the counterpart of JGG, the adjustable screw has a cut which allows air to flow. GGTS is fine too of course! :)

I think the best you can do is just remove the adjustable pin from the Ithaka. I would not remove the remove the adjustable pin from JGG brass center post. Mostly just a drop or two may come out and mostly condensation. I have to say I was quite surprised about this. Hoping others pipe in with a better solution and hope it doesn't have anything to do with o-rings

I just checked my setup. The adjustable centerpole screw on the JGG connector is screwed in completely. Without the brass post both O-Ring stay inside the CT. What you might see is the black delrin insulator on the centerpole.
With the brass post on my Ithaka I can see one O-Ring which came out. There is still one Ring covering the batteries from juice, and the 2nd Ring might still seal a bit as it sits at the bottom of the CT.

I should start reading from above...
I would recommend to remove the adjustable pin from Ithaka. If you remove the screw from the CT then you might have a few problems. You have to unscrew the adjustable Ithaka screw to get contact, that might be a bit tricky. You also loose the ability to switch to another Atomizer (Penelope, Odysseus, iAtty, whatever) quickly as you have to put the screw back again for those and probably most important if you have some juice in the CT it will most probably collect in the screw housing and your Ithaka would gurgle and have problems with the airflow. Normaly when there is juice in the CT you tilt a bit while vaping and so have "clean air".

center pin of justGG was made to move but only for 1mm, just to fit all atomizers Rick. And because Ithaka has a long pin (old rebuildable part and new rebuildable part too), you remove the adjustable pins from both of them.
I have said this a lot of times here:)

Imeo again thank you and to everybody else for the correct guidance. GG is so modular and adaptable for all MODS. i foresee many more GG great things to come for 2014. spread the word about GG. I know I will. GG is heirloom quality and MILSPEC tough.

Is anyone else getting gurgling/leaking with the new rebuildable part?
I can't figure out what I've done differently to everyone else - but each morning I'm finding a good few drops of liquid in the collection tank below the Ithaka in the JGG above the battery.
It's not getting into the battery - so it's doing it's job there.
But it then leaks out of the air hole and of course is gurgling.
I have no such problems with the r/nr setup with ceramic...
Any thoughts on what I might have missed?
Other than this leak - it's working good. A bit airy maybe - but the leaking has me a bit puzzled...
