I gonna make every day one more,as it take me time.
This one was on 2.5 mm
I'll make the 1.5mm,maybe will see.
I'll give a try since this one work very good.

Now the Ithaka of the Boba's bounty vape fine.
Tomorrow I'll make the Ithaka of the El Kamino.
Then the Ithaka of the English Bulldog.
Last the Ithaka of the Zombie Brain.

Ok that's the plan as it look

the Brass JGG's of the wife will keep run on old atty with silica and Imeo Ribbons
(she complain ther is too much vapor on my setup ha ha )

My SS JGG's will run with new rebuildable part with ...with...the micro can't say yet the other word.

Tried 28g micro coil with cotton again today. 7-8 wraps @ 1.1 ohms. I thought I had it but still no go for me. The cotton seems to work good for a few hits then the burnt flavor comes back. If I milk it along with several dry pulls I can get the flavor back but it just seems too fiddly to me.

Removed cotton and pulled two 2mm silica wicks through. Tight fit. Two strands at coil and single 2mm wick about halfway down the channel. Works great. Mouthpiece open 3-4 turns and just go, go, go. No flooding, or gurgling, no dry hits at all. Easy open draw. I still think I like the 1.5 ribbon ready wire better, but the 28g is working for me.

I still think regular Ithaka with two 3mm wicks at coil and cut two strands from the channels with 1.5 ribbon ready wire is the best setup for me. I like the new rebuildable and new penny for trying new things, but regular Ithaka still gets my vote. I have some of the cotton Bish recommended on order so I will keep trying.

Be sure The ribbons produce more bright taste, and your not wrong on this pal pepper.
I guess this why aal keep give it try time after time but...it can't apply good on cotton as on silica.
So for old part if one want the best taste it's the ribbons on silica for now.

But it's not the same on new part.
New part is like diffrent atty.
Now,it's damn Fiddly to put make the micro, and find the correct amount of how
Much cotton to stuff in there way Fiddly but it's only until you get for the first time.
When you made it that's it,from there it's only stufifing new cotton every few days
Or when you change liquids.
Stuffing the cotton is no time, after you know how much to put,
So in the end it will be the less Fiddly to renew the set up each time.

Make the micro coil exactly as the guys on previus posts say, don't change a thing.
Put sparely cotton until the channel only, exactly as they say.
Don't give up,you will discover in the end somthing you will like very much.

After you'll get there only then you will understand that your lucky to discover this option.

But,I wouldn't dream to make such on old part, even if the guys managed it,it's not suit
My short spare time.

put 28 kantal micro make and install the coil only.
Only then put sparely cotton until the channel- stuff via the coil it with a Small needle or screw driver,
Until the channel only.
You don't wanna miss this option,if you can, though you are not on bad grounds.
With the ribbons and the silica it's work great, but better to know all options our
GG device can give.

Ok guys captain log day two:
"We are getting there, the inner galactic ream is closer then ever".

Finish the Boba's tank in the office and came back to make
The Ithaka of the El Kamino micro!

Made smaller dia coil though not 1.5mm take it step by step,
So I made 2mm dia
28 kantal
8/9 wraps

1.6 ohm.

Put the El kamino, man redicules amount of vapor,(this may cos problem with the fire department)
Any way I wanted the same for the Boba's Ithaka so I made one more:

Make the same and put the Boba's.:p
Tomorrow we make one for the English bulldog.:p

Now the micro with the micro produce nice mellow smooth tasty vape,
As I like for my complex tobaco vapes.

How ever, the Zombie Brain with double menthol will remain,in old
Rebuildable part, with silica and Imeo ribbons!
With This one I want it to bite with crispiness, that what I like on it,
And the ribbons compliment it far better.

So for me yes there is a need for both atty part, old and new!

No need double menthol to make it mellow and smooth this after good dinner
Have to deliver the sharp edge.

With the cotton wick so damn good new rebuildable have some time over wicking,
Like old Part center post, that is no problem to fix in a minute.
Screw off, blow, wipe from bellow, and off we go.

Each rebuildables give Diffrent aspect of taste
To the vape,so I'm happy I have both.

Now to the built:

I built this Micro coils without using a torch!
Put them on the post use long nose plier very gentle and fire the device,
When the coils glow red,the coil is loosing it's flexibility.
When this happened you can give one more squize (gentle) with plier then one more
And for once the device if there is a need.
The most important is that the coil will glow from the middle out,
And glow even like one red tube!

That's it guys
Thanks for watching ;)

Sure gonna be fun dan,
It's a hell of a ride.
Discover now,no need for sub ohm for ridicules clouds of vapor.
This set up produce unbelievable amounts of vapor, and no problem wicking
Without any cotton in the channels.
The cotton on the chamber hold so much of liquid that there is no need to tilt it even.
Be sure though to put a juice that mellow fluffy vape compliment it.
As this setup mellow the vape like Chewing stuffed cupcake.
Desert vapes,tobaco vapes,mellow butterscotch,deadly sin, yoplay parley,
Oh boy One can get weight from just to think of it.:p

Captain log day 3:

Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust ya (aka Queen)

Finish the El kamino Ithaka at office came back fill
It,took a vape, and start to built the English bulldog Ithaka.

Were there :
1.5 mm dia coil.
28 kantal 9 wraps
1.5 ohm (1.48 ohm to be exact)

It give damn to much of TH so I open it and lower the colic
Great thing we can do on the new part.

All complex tobaco Ithakas micro coils made, and I hope to run this
Coils for very long time.

The coil from today:

More tricky to get the cotton inside 1.5mm but I made it in the end.

Now after the picture was made I cut the cotton shorter.

I'm wondering if I need to cut mine too. I did my first build last night and after about ten minutes, I was getting a burnt taste. My build looks identical to yours. Maybe to much cotton I'm guessing.

I know, I know, sometimes less is more. I usually follow that rule, but didn't this time.

I too think you have too much cotton in your coil and slots. Slotwise I'd say it can be easily been seen on the picture, the coil might be ok.
Cotton wicks extremely good and also extends a bit when it is wet. I use to have only a little bit of cotton in the slots, at least half of what you have. The cotton through the coil should pass through easily, if you have to drag a bit you have too much.

Also I put some cotton between the slots and the coil if I have some extend that can act as a buffer. No problem so far with my 0.8 Ohm coil.
