Ithaka new rebuildable part

I will make a review today Scott. I will also make a review about the new Ithaka cap that transforms it to a dripper. It was so easy to be made lol

I'm just over the moon with the new rebuildable for Ithaka ... my Penelopes are so jealous! Any word on the Ithaka-style rebuildable for the Penelopes? Soon, I hope, I hope!

penelope v3 comes with the new part Beco. Ithaka comes with old one and the new one is optional

Will it be possible to buy the Ithaka or Penelope v3 only with the new rebuildable part without having to buy old and new

Beco, you can build new Ithaka from parts on esmoke and not buy the old style rebuildable but only the new style. It will not cost more & if you go back through these posts you can find list of parts needed. I think Stanley or itshak listed parts needed last month.

Ah, nicely! I would really love to buy 2 to fit my 2 Ithakas, but I might have to just get one. I don't think it is a huge deal, though.. at least you can swap cotton out on microcoils very easy!

My rebuildable part is waiting for me at my local shipping facility, I can pick it up later today I believe! I can't wait, as soon as I can the first build I am going to make is a 28g microcoil, 8 wraps maybe.. not sure yet. So excited, though!

ALSO, I met someone local who uses rebuildable e-cigs. He actually has an Ithaka clone, I am going to help him set it up on Saturday. I never used the Fasttech clone, but hopefully I can at least get him a good vape from it. I told him all the good parts of Ithaka and he might end up buying one if he likes it.. so I need to make him a really good setup! Luckily he likes .7ohm vaping like me, so I can just build him a quick dual coil setup with 1.5ohm ready wires.. I think he will really like it! He said he was getting shorts, so I'm hoping there isn't something wrong with his clone.

Sorry for even mentioning clones, I only mention it because he may get a real one after he saw mine

The only thing I'm wondering about is wicks. I do have a roll of cotton I've used for wicks in the past, but not sure how much to use.
What about cotton hemp yarn? Or should I just find those Maxim Hygiene cotton balls that Bishopheals uses? I know cotton expands a lot so any help with wick size would be great - thanks!

Oh yeah, and is MrKrinkle method better than having cotton go down the channels for a microcoil?

Perfect thanks man. Actually the cotton roll I have is from CVS - I had no problems with that in the past so I will try that.. Might get some CVS cotton balls as well but I feel like they might be the same cotton, not sure?

I'm drooling over all these photos.. I can't wait to get out of work and pick it up!

You might try Bamboo yarn I used it when I would rebuild my ERA when I used my Reo no flavor and a tad more robust than cotton

I use cvs cotton but have been splitting the tails. I put a small amount down the channel and curl another part around the inside. So far it's worked really well. No dry hits and absolutely no flooding/gurgle.
