Okay, I'm new to GG products and mechanical mods as well. I have Ithaka on its way but have not been able to find a GGTS yet. Guess I'll have to wait till the next production. However, I have ordered a "lesser" product to use until that time comes. At present the only mod that I will have to use the Ithaka on until the "lesser" product arrives is my vamo or innokin. Both of these are vv/vw devices and I will not be able to (or shouldn't as I understand it) use the coils at a low resistance. My question is; if I make a dual coil on Ithaka to use with my vamo, can it be two coils, each at 2.4 ohms? Should I use two coils at all?

Imeo, I just saw one site that said the lowest would be 1.2ohms, but I don't think I'll try that low on it. Maybe 1.8, would that be okay and do I make two coils each at 1.8?

i think youll be ok with 1.5ohm, so youll have to double that if you do dual making both coils 3.0ohm at minimum. if you want 1.8, youll have to make each coil 3.6ohms

when making dual coils, itll always cut the ohms in half of each coil. so if you wanted a 2ohm dual coil, youd need 2 4ohm coils.

Working perfect , strong throat hit ........ very good vape!!



After 30 sec , can't vape hard because of strong throat hit , already change dual coil to single coil , i have no liquid with less nicotine.

It all depends on customs really. In my experience it can take anywhere from 4 days to 3 weeks. We just gotta wait and hope for the best now.

Never before have I felt a desire to work as a customs agent.

I think I have to unsubscribe from this thread until Ithaka arrives here. I try to forget, and I keep getting emails saying Ithaka official.

I rebuilt Ody today. It is the last time I will rebuild a GG atty, until I build Ithaka the first time.

You still using 28 ga. Kwalka? I am, and it's perfect, but I don't get more than a day or two out of a coil before it's too gummed up and starts declining in performance (Using 50/50 PG/VG Copper Creek House Blend). I've tried cleaning one still intact, but it doesn't really get back to 100%, and isn't much easier than just rebuilding it altogether.

I rebuilt both of mine yesterday too, but certainly will again before the Ithaka. I'm hoping that perhaps dual 2Ω coils will last longer than a single 1Ω...

Hehe. I am still using 28 in certain circumstances. I have a couple genesis attys that really shine at .7Ω So those get 3 wraps of 28. Otherwise I have settled in with 30 as my go to wire. I have tried the ribbon Kanthal and it seems to be breaking after 1 or 2 dry burns. I vape all NETs now so I am constantly dry burning. The 30 seems to take it well.

Yes I decided if I stop the email notifications from this thread, I won't know when the first American gets their shipping email. Then is when I can get really excited
