Nothing for me yet. He said in the other thread that he was going to upgrade shipping to get it to us faster. But it sounds like from others accounts that didnt happen. He now says he will upgrade First Class to Priority which is a total waste of money since First Class is handled exactly the same as Priority, thus arriving at its destination no faster at all. I'm bummed. I just hope to get my shipping notice soon, get my Ithaka and be done with COV. Just a new fib told by the bigbuyer.

Umm, COV said they'd get back to work and start shipping Monday and now folks in the US are getting their shipping notice on Monday. I'm waiting for mine too but understand that with the volume they're dealing with it's inevitable that some folks will get the notification before others.

My guess is COV is thinking that with all the controversy they had better get Ithaka shipped ASAP and not take time to construct rebuttals. They will have time for communication after shipping is completed. Give them a day of two before looking for communications.

To me, it speaks volumes that the only words in here on the topic from Bruce were pasted from a FB or similar post.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that even damage control surrounding the decisions made was properly handled as there has now been plenty of time to address these concerns.

Imeo, I for one am glad you have other suppliers and will be happy to wait for overseas shipping as opposed to dealing with a vendor who puts his customers in situations like this.

On the flipside, its GREAT to hear how well received the Ithaka has been by those who have gotten theirs!

only out of curiosity (ordered mine from Greece): not even a single word on your italian reseller's website. just plain nothing! :-/

If you log into COV and look under the "Order Overview" tab you'll see status

Sign into your account and then on the right hand side of the page there is an order overview area. Click that and you can see the status of your order.

I didn't have money at the time of the Ithaka pre-order, but Bruce said he would save one for me, I really hope this doesn't sound selfish, but I didn't end up buying an Ithaka because I won the February contest and I am pretty broke (I really don't need 2 Ithakas, as much as I'd LOVE to have 2!!) - but all the preorders are getting notifications and I hope I get mine soon as well... I understand that mine is probably last priority, but I feel like I'm in the same boat as you preorder guys.
Either way, I'm just happy I'm getting one and I don't want to sound selfish or anything!
