I'd prefer to pay a little more for more features. I know I would be adding them on later if I could so I'd rather have have the best possible to start with!

I think that adjusting the basic feeding is maybe useless guys. Basic feeding is made for people that dont want to mess with liquid control and also made for light vapers. So adjusting it is not something that we really need. If we need more liquid then we open the mouthpiece. Thats why I called it "basic feeding". Only because it can let us vape like the normal atomizers without any adjustments. For more control we have the mouthpiece if you agree.
You know....thinking about what you said, that WAS your intention. So somebody that doesn't want to "fiddle" can still vape it. Well damn it, if you put it that way, it actually makes sense because we still WOULD have the flow control.
exactly yankee. That was my first intension and it was right as I see it. No reason to make unessesary things just because we can.
I don't understand why this is being "rethought". The original design in the video is perfect. It covers literally everything. Jmho
So, I was right when I thought the Ithaka had two liquid controls ... that was one thing that has confused me ever since I first saw the video, Imeo. The thumb-knurled ring with the small oblong slot around the ceramic housing is one fluid control ... the "set it and forget it" basic fluid control ... and the adjustable mouthpiece is the second fluid control, which we are all familiar with and, at least in my case, love. Is that right? So yes, then, as long as we have the adjustable mouthpiece which is a proven method of fluid control, why have the internal "basic fluid control"?
we sure agree jojo. I was just thinking what we can do more for Ithaka but I dont see how the original design can be really improved. The only change that I will make is to connect wires with o-rings. No bolts anywhere for wires connections

Exactly. The basic can be adjusted to allow full on, partial, or off if I'm remembering the video. Excellent actually. And EITHER way, the mouthpiece would be additional. So even if you choose no basic, you always have mouthpiece. And if you use basic, you can increase mouthpiece. Now I'M excited because every now and then, I chain vape and this would be an excellent help in keeping that juice flowing even better
not useless maybe just unnecessary. the thing i use the most on oddy and penny is the juice control. depending on time of day, type of juice etc dictates the amount of juice i use. so the setting basic for me personally would be unnecessary since i constantly fiddle with the juice control.
has any final decision been made on the original gg style mouthpiece option being included?

I must admit though I am also wondering what you can come up with next! Just when I think you have made a device as good as it can be made, you always come up with a newer version. That is why I have always said it is like Christmas for GG lovers all year round!

no way Paul. basic feeding doesnt work exactly like mouthpiece. If you open a lot the mouthpiece then you go very close to the top of the wick. Basic feeding is too low, so it feeds without flooding. Of course its not made for crazy vapers like me for example. But it helps a lot vapers like me because I dont open too much the mouthpiece so I never have overflooding effect. Also the basic feeding part can go up and down, so you can put the wick very close to the base of the mouthpiece or very far from it. That has an impact to hot or cool smoke and also an impact to how much you have to open the mouthpiece every time. For example, if the basic feeding part is high then you have to open only a little the mouthpiece to feed the wick because wick is very close to the base of mouthpiece

But really, I dont see what else we can do for an atomizer. Ithaka has everything, even things that are no main, like clear window or the ability to put your own drip. It also has the serious things like controlling center pin, comtrolling liquid, controlling air etc. Its the perfect atomizer that will not bring any problems to anyone.

So you are looking to maybe have two options for the people? Changeable tip or original Ody tip?it will have the option for different mouthpieces legion and maybe I will make a solid mouthpiece too like Ody has
