Just curious, but aren't there 510 drip tips that mimic the Ody or Penelope mouthpieces? I have one that is similar, which I got simply because it WAS so similar to my Penelope. I find the Penelope mouthpiece to be one of the best feeling, most pleasant to use of any tip I've ever encountered. So, perhaps both camps could be satisfied in this manner?

There are SS drip tips that "look" similar yes. I have a couple of them that are plain straight drip tips that I use on a couple of other devices.

I like the GG mouthpiece. My wife like drip tips. There are both opinions in one house.

IMHO, it's be great to cover both styles because it would cover ALL people. GG lovers would be happy. And those that want delrin, glass, etc., would be happy as well.

in the end its up to imeo. i trully believe the beauty of the ody and peny is the mouthpiece. it flows with the tank, straigh lines, a drop, slight radius with the knotched top ring and just straight lines coming out the front for the mouth piece, a slight radius on the corners, flat area and a beautiful smooth champher at the end. its a machining beauty. no let me put this giant fish glass drip tipto throw it off! lol (sorry rick )

I don't have giant glass fish on mine. I just can't tolerate metal. And to be honest, even if someone wanted a giant glass fish, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Function is function. Quality is quality. Brilliance is brilliance.
Why not have versatility?

On a serious note, we are going to vote in November for another president because we have a CHOICE....and we SHOULD have that choice. If someone DOES want that glass fish on their GG, it's their CHOICE! I don't think that will affect the performance of the Ithaca. (I suppose I could be wrong).

And BONUS if Imeo tackles BOTH options for traditional GG lovers and for lovers of anything NON metal for drip tips.

Could'nt the Oddy mouthpiece work on the Ithaka, it's the same rebuildable part, the mouthpiece end is just a bit thinner. Maybe a thicker oring would work or make a second small cap so it would fit.

Ody's mouthpiece will not fit on Ithaka bacc. Its not deep anough

or we can make it fit bacc. I can make a longer center post in Ithaka in a way that 2 o-rings can fit there. So when you put 1 o-ring then Ody's mouthpiece will fit. If you put on the other one too then it will not. Its not a bad idea

O-ring or bigger nut. Imeo, that could allow for both options. ALL customers happy.

I updated Ithaka and now there is no nut buddy. The new style to keep wires in place is with o-rings only. Inventions are still going good on GG series axaxaxa

sure Scott. And I was thinking of something new tonight. A way to make Ithaka work like Ody but like UFS too. An external control of the new piece that is inside Ithaka so we can control from outside the basic feeding. Its not an easy construction but I think that I am close to it. What I am afraid is the total cost of Ithaka if I do it like this. Many adjustable parts, totally control of everything but more money for me and for you
