also, i have a post about it. very simple, i just followed pbusardos evod rebuild video, subbed out mesh instead of silica, and obviously checked for hot spots. it works best if you check to make sure you trap the wires in a way that pulls them towards the wick instead of pushing them towards the outer walls of the bottom of the head.

also, where are we at on those ithaka preorders? im glad i picked up a terminator c to hold me over during the wait, it only makes me more and more excited for the real thing

I remember being told that after pre order of ithika we would have to wait a month, and... Just checked my emails and its been a month since I ordered my ithika so hopefully Any day now??? :)

I apologize if this has already been asked....

But I just broke the window in my Ithaka window, and am hoping that COV will have parts soon. I'm looking for a steal window as well as a replacement clear one.

I can cobble something together with parts in the mean time, but I really like the Ithaka as it came.

In 2 weeks or less I will ship Ithakas my friend Prong. Telescopic mouthpiece, upper bodies and steel windows need another month:)
Imeo,

Great! I have pre orders for 2 Ithakas and 2 telescoping mouthpieces, 2 steel windows and 2 tops. So the preorders we placed through clouds of vapor are going to be shipped to them in about two weeks?

Imeo. Can you make an upgrade attachment for the ithaka that allows a 306 attomizer or even better a hh 357. Just like the atty upgrade you made for the ody. I do like making my own coils. But sometimes it's a hassle. And rather just pop in a hh and go. Please consider my idea. Thanks.

This has probably been answered already Imeo - but are the steel window replacements shipping with Ithaka?

Also, I don't know if any of you have a TSAF or something similar (wire welder) but mine will be shipping out on Thursday - I can't wait! As soon as I get it I will be making a big stash of coils and wicks so when it's time for new coils I can just swap them out very fast! It will make things much easier, especially now that I started making my own juice, and testing flavors can be a pain with making coils all the time!

Hey Sub, I have the TSAF+ and it works great. Just make sure to follow what the instructions on the included sheet say. For the most part, only have about 3mm sticking out from the alligator clips, and only fuse about 1 mm of the wire. I use 30 gauge kanthal and 30 gauge nickel, so I use setting 4.

Awesome, thanks! Manolis shipped it out today.. so hopefully it doesn't get held up in customs for too long.. the thing looks like a freaking detonator device or something so I hope there are no issues

I use 32 gauge Kanthal and 30 gauge Nickel

It is a great device. Right now kinda frustrated because the fused part isn't as sturdy as it was initially. I think I need to scratch the clips to make them more flat again. I have been trying to find non serrated alligator clips, but not sure if they exist.

so those that you already sent...are those to start filling the preorders? or are those going to be for sale on the site for Non preorders?

I send 3 days ago to my sellers only some steel windows that I had ready sub. But the main batch (preorders batch) will come with Ithaka shipment, that is in about 1 week

Haha, my twisting days are done since I got this. I was looking at the solder stuff, not sure but looks like more than I can do at this time. Right now I actually used some tin foil booties on the alligator clips, after gently filing the solder in there and that worked great. Need to do some more looking on soldering though, can't be to hard I would think for what I need.

Fill the hollow part of your clips with solder and file them flat, it works. Or learn to twist :)

Imeo is there any chance of making in the future a Collection Tank Center Post unique piece for GGTS that screws directly in Ithaka? Seems to short the mod about 5mm :)

Buy a Stealth pin and plastic screw it directly into the connector cap where the normal pin and plastic goes. No need to make a special piece since one that already exists works. Although with the change to the stealth cap might need to revise this solution.
