This window seems like Odysseus long mode window Dark but I dont know if its original. The site from where you bought it is not a GG dealer any more (as you correctly said), so I cant see how he can still have stock for parts that where made 1 year ago
I just received my Royal Mail package from GG UK (even though they are no longer a GG dealer) and did a quick comparison of the original Ithaka window and the new Odysseus Upgrade window. See photos below.

Here is the original window I am trying to replace. not sure what liquid was used by previous owner(s), but the tank did not hold up so well...

Here is a direct side-by-side of the two windows

Here is the new window on the SN ring

After installation, the new window will add approximately 2mm to the length and the threads are substantially longer. Due to the longer threads, the SN ring does not seal to the base's o-ring. I estimate I will need to remove roughly 1.5 - 2 mm from the threads for this to seal properly.

I will post when I have completed this task and how well it worked.

That is correct, it was advertised as an Odysseus Upgrade (longmode) window. And I am not sure if it was old stock or some sort of knock-off. I had ordered it before you let me know they weren't a dealer anymore so I just sat here in the US with my fingers crossed.

Here is the complete unit with the modified Odysseus Longmode window.

Thanks a lot for the link Dark but I still dont know if its an original part. And yes, if you cut the threads then this window fits, so you did a great job there. I was just hoping Cameron to not take advantage of the GG name now that he is not a GG dealer any more. I asked him several times to take down this "GG" site but nothing happened.

Anyway, does the mouthpiece still stops somewhere when you unscrew it or it gets totally unscrewed? I mean that the stopper that the mouthpiece has, still works?

Anyway, does the mouthpiece still stops somewhere when you unscrew it or it gets totally unscrewed? I mean that the stopper that the mouthpiece has, still works?

I hadn't noticed the mouthpiece stop before, so I just tried it. But no it doesn't stop, the mouthpiece will completely unscrew from the RBA section. Although I don't really see that as a problem because I never open the liquid control more than 2 - 3 mm.

As a side note, even unscrewing the mouthpiece completely off the RBA it did not flood (not connected, but it doesn't come out of contact). So the stop still works in a way, it is just 2mm higher than before

And although he has not taken the section completely down, it is VERY difficult to navigate to that page. Most, if not all of his GG item's list as out of stock, I just wanted an alternative so badly that I was able to dig into the site deep enough to find it.

Negative on the wicking. The only noticeable difference is that the air bubble that naturally forms and moves to the top sticks on the lip of the mouthpiece. Once it grows to a certain size it flows normally and a new bubble will form.

Otherwise, I have not noticed any difference in performance using 80/20 juice. It's possible that higher VG would have issues.

If it becomes an issue i will mill out the inside of the Ody window to match the internal dimensions of the Ithaka window.

Got email this morning that my Ithaka and extras were dispatched from e-smoke... Postie stalking commences...

Thanks Imeo..

Just in reply to above posts... the Zapper is £34.99 which isn't a bad price i think myself, postage is £3.70 in UK, £8.80 Europe, £9.80 ROW.

it's not fair to be filling this thread with wire welder convos though, sorry about that.

thats my fault for getting this off topic, i was struggling finding one and knew the gg crew would know. BTW , ordered and thanks all for the info .. back to the regularly scheduled programing:)

I pre ordered my ithaka thru COV and still no word yet. I guess e-smoke is the way to go next time, huh?

E-Smoke is located in Greece, so yes they should get their stuff first as they don't have to wait for shipping and customs. So outside the US use e-smoke, inside the US have a bit of patience and support an American biz.

If I am correct they shipped mid/end last week. As in previous sales give it about two weeks for ship, customs, un-packing and notification. So I estimate next week should have good news for us all! :)

Well not exactly. It is normal that Bruce receives them later than e-smokeguru since he has to wait for the stuff to reach the states. If you order directly from Vasilis you also have to wait for them to ship, maybe you wait less since it is not a big shipment that will stay long at the customs, but then again, you pay more for shipping. So it is a trade-off.

Got my Ithaka today!
Many thanks to Vasilis from e-smokeguru for an excellent and super-fast service.

Tried a couple of dual coil X configs in the beginning with 3mm wick @ 1.3 ohms total. Got gurgling, not much vapour or throat hit at all, flavour was ok. No matter the Wattage. I usually vape at 7.5W, tried up to 11W no change.

Then I tried the supplied wire which is 1.6 ohms with 3mm wick in single-coil X config and...I couldn't believe it! My juice has never tasted like that! Massive vapour, amazing taste, excellent throat hit, brilliant overall!
Still getting some gurgling and flooding, but that could be the base feeding which is all the way open (mouthpiece all the way closed). Some playing round in the next setup and that will be taken care of.

I know I must have been doing something wrong with the dual coil setup, I'll experiment with it a bit more as well.

If during my smoking days I would say, let me enjoy some nice single malt and smoke a cigar, now it is single malt and Ithaka all the way!

I also got that small threaded part as well, not sure where it goes.

Overall a big congats to Imeo for this!

I'm having a really big problem that came out of nowhere:

My beloved Ithaka is leaking from the o-ring that holds down the positive wires. I've tried every possible assembly technique and nothing has worked. NOTE, this is not from the center pin but the o-ring that is supposed to seal the center pin.

I'm at a loss...the o-ring is in perfect condition, and it looks to be pressed nicely against the housing.

HALP! This has me perplexed like none other!

Other then lubing with some vasoline you might try a second o-ring.

Is the post centered?
Could the o-ring be split but only visible when compressed?
