What I recommend is trying different AC positions at different levels of the tank. When full, half empty, empty. Some want tight draw (like justin :) ) some want looser. And other times it helps change your experience.
One example. If you open slightly more toward the end, you get an easier time vaping it bone dry and still enjoying solid wicking. Sometimes wicking can be a problem as the tank empties.

You ever think the tank is empty, then go to refill and still see a decent amount if juice in there?

Ok, so how many of you are using cotton instead of silica. I did the cotton on both of my Ithakas and one of my clones and really liked the flavor I was getting, but after 3 days, I couldn't get any flavor from any of them.

I'm just not sure if it's going to be the thing for me. Silica has been a winner for me as far as lasting and easy to clean.

It's also a pain to change cotton. I have a total of 8 tanks, 2 Ithakas and six clones. I love being able to change juices throughout the day and just don't see it worth the effort.

BTW, please don't bash me just cause I have clones. I got them first and loved them so much, figured I'd try the true Ithaka. Glad I did, they are so much better built, but they will never leave the house!

I have been using cotton for a month now. Oddly my coils seem to last longer.

But I use 3 wicks at the coil, wrapped around a paper clip straightened out. And I've been using premade ribbon wire. Even with regular remade wire it vaped well. But the ribbon wire really enhances my flavors. And the premade just makes that easy. Wrap and insert. Bam I also use dual coils.

I've used ribbon on my gennies, but had not considered it on these! Hmmmm

Where do you get your pre-made ribbon wires? I didn't even know anyone sold those.

Its funny that no one had tried dual microcoils with cotton balls on Ithaka yet. Will I be the first one? Yankee?

I will be trying them at some point. I haven't exactly had the most stable situations while I wait for orings. Weekends are best for me to do good testing. So for now I've been cotton yarn. Just limits my variables so I can't hear "it's leaking because of cotton balls".

recently, my Ithaka has been spitting juice in my mouth almost every draw. (sounds dirty, it is......)
How can i fix this? it makes it unusable.
It is not a new build, been using it on and off for a couple weeks, dual coil using ready wires at .9ohm with silica.
I just filled it it this morning, with the last of a bottle, and i'd like to finish off the tank as it is the last of this juice.
suggestions?

They are mine (made in China like the other wires) and Greek seller will have them tomorrow Yankee. COV will have them on next shipment in about 10 days

ps.... I didnt know that another person made them too for GG atomizers

They are not marked as made for GG or any other. Somebody made them for many atomizers. They are good though. They changed the flavor of ithaka very nicely. I have tried them in a couple other devices. Next is the other ithakas I have. Orings should arrive today or tomorrow.

I'm glad cov and Greek seller will carry them too. That's awesome.

Thank you its.

length of NR wire is 55 mm as usual
R wire is at 39mm
R= 1,5ohm
This is great Imeo,
In what resistence this pre made ribon wire will be availble?
I see one option in Smokguru.
And one more thing what is the lenght of the R wire part ?
( to better understand how many wraps we can make on wick)

You are right yankee, many people used NR wire for their atomizers after I made them. Also I notice that they work very nice on new Penelope too.

The 17 sprung a leak at the top. But there was juice dripping down. I didn't see anything at base but. Also, I don't think these were 17s. They told me they were 17s and in a bag you marked as 17 but they measure 16.

I'm sure this is a very stupid question, but what would happen if you used Teflon tape between the tank sections? I know that's not a permanent fix and shouldn't be a necessity. And come to think of it, a shade tree mechanic type thing to do... So never mind.
