Thank you its.
length of NR wire is 55 mm as usual
R wire is at 39mm
R= 1,5ohm

Sounds good enough. For Ithaka I use wire welder and 40mm of 0.5х0.1 ribbon kanthal - it gives around of 1.35 ohm resistance. But on video the non-resistant wire is ribbon too. Why? Round non-resistance wire looks more convenient

I'm sure this is a very stupid question, but what would happen if you used Teflon tape between the tank sections? I know that's not a permanent fix and shouldn't be a necessity. And come to think of it, a shade tree mechanic type thing to do... So never mind.

I certainly don't need to repost my modded ithaka do I?

I get that every so often...sometimes it is a low battery that isnt burning the juice off enough...at least that's what I think it is because when I replace the battery, it usually stops...but then there is a time when I think I have juice control open too much and I am vaping at an angle and it runs down the mouthpiece.

low battery
old wick that doesnt absorb good
liquid on your mod's connector
too opened mouthpiece

the battery is fully charged.
i think you are right about it being a wicking issue. after this tank i will build a new coil.
thanks, i believe this was the issue.

should i try a parallel dual coil this time, or stick the the X configuration?

Ok. Orings arrived. So I'll build another ithaka with a new set of orings. Going to dry fit a few later because I'm curious to see. For now, here's a pic.

In the bottom right 2 pics, top is from COV AS A 17mm, middle is a 17mm that just arrived, bottom is 18mm. The other pics are crude measurements of the 3. I say crude because I measured, then moved one hand to the camera so the hand holding the calipers may have moved.

That's obviously parallel. It's 3 at the coil and one in the channel. If I cross on the X (which I do like best, I usually use round wire and 2 at coil. 3 is tight to X (that makes 6 and cotton is compressed TIGHT)

This setup is a bit harsh for the juice I have in it. It'll be torn down before the coils wear down. I forgot I normally won't go below 1 ohm with cheesecake or other delicate flavors. I will do 2 2.2 duals, just a straight single 1.2, or single ribbon 1.5.

Its funny that no one had tried dual microcoils with cotton balls on Ithaka yet. Will I be the first one? Yankee?

I will do this. May not be until this weekend but I will give this a shot. I need more time than I like to use on a work night to do my tinkering. If things don't go as planned, then I'm muttering until midnight. :(

Yeah, same here. Most of my favorite juices like vanilla Custard don't do to well at anything below 1ohm. My usual setup is 1.2 or 1.3. I know they say that's "dead man's land". Why it's called that I can't say, but it's where I like it! And, most of my juices are delicate.
