I like the Idea of thicker windows now I can have one Ithaka for rugged use with clear window. Plus you can never have too many clear windows....

To me this is the best on the market, (I have tried about every atomizer out there), but they can leak if not set up properly. I have 6 and would never get rid of any of them. Ithaka on a JGG cant get any better than that:vapor:

does this atty leak? im on a hunt for a alternative to a kfl

For sure Thanos.
I just use it from a friend and 1 day was enough to understand what a grate atom you made bro!!!
I forget to mention that it forgives the most common mistakes of user at the set up of the coil...:vapor:you never understand because of the flavor and vapor .
absolutely clouds!!!
Congrats again.

just great sakis, thank you buddy. I am just wondering sometimes why some people still insist on inferior atomizers. Maybe its the cost of Ithaka

I'm sure you're right about that. I know you put a ton of work into these and it shows, but a lot of folks simply can't afford it. I couldn't afford them myself until I found them used in the classifieds. I'd absolutely love more of them, but, I just can't see it.

You design and make a wonderful atty!!

SO FAR it's good. Yes. I will feel better after 2 weeks. But as of now it's been a range if days. The oldest are at 5-6 days.

I have a chart going.
Diameter on all bases are 19.94-19.96mm. I needed 18x1 there. So I used the same size on all my bases.

The tops are different. The diameter of the oring channel measures between 19.99 and 20.05mm.

20mm and less. 18x1.
20.01-20.05 17x1.

Windows I left at 16s.

I still have two to measure and change. And I did not do all measurements as I have thought of others that may clear things up more. Because I can't see the direct link without capturing a couple other measurements. So far none of the 16s stopped what I wanted it to stop. Maybe when I take a few other measurements I will completely understand why I need what I need for orings.

I solicited response on this thread and have received quite a few PMs with measurements of those who do NOT leak and they are at 20mm (average) so why do my 20s need 18s?

But as of now yes, seems like I will need to keep these numbers handy.

0,1mm doesnt make any difference for o-rings yankee. You need 17x1 to cap because it seals either with the upper body and 18x1 to base (not because it has different diameter but because slots may require a little better sealing). Windows cant take more than 16x1, they will be very tight with bigger o-rings

Your measurements are exactly right

0.1 mm doesn't make any difference? Theoretically I would say that's accurate. Scientifically I would also say that shouldn't be the case. Mathematically no way .1 makes a huge difference. But somehow a 20mm take one size and a 20.2mm takes another. OR I have tacky moisture build up.
When I went from a 16 to a true 17 from mc, I stopped the leak, but it still built up the juice moisture on the outside. So in my case that's exactly what what .1mm did. I don't know why. I have a couple other measurements I could take if I wanted to keep at the issue.

I've had many attys. ody, Penelope, iatty, and I've never had to change the seam oring. So to spend all this time on this is frustrating as all hell.

But I'm up to my eyeballs in orings. Hell all these orings that I purchased, I'm lucky to have orings for other mods and atties. I could cover a good portion of a room. Or even open my own oring distribution at bo-ringusa.com.

The JGG came with a couple sizes orings for adjustability sake. I believe the ithaka maybe should have come with a couple of sizes. Why? I KNOW I'm not the only one with this grief. I've been PMd. Any status? What were your findings? I have similar issue. But what happened? Some didn't want to "rock the boat". I've been vocal. And I know it's not all welcome vocalization. Because if I didn't vocalize, then others would accept random acts of leakage at face value. Here we share the good and the bad.

If I upset anyone I'm sorry. But I wouldn't change anything because if I help ONE person save aggravation for them, then I've done good. I'm sorry but it's true.

Does the ithaka vape great? YES. It does. Is it versatile and have options? YES. When we first got them they were fantastic. Then it quit. I wish I didn't have to go thorough all this to make it great again. Nobody should have to.

My humble and honest opinion.
And if anyone IS out there experiencing this, PM me. I'll get you some orings
